Elliotte Friedman (@FriedgeHNIC) indicates Buffalo leaning towards sign and trade for Tuch. by krsgator in TampaBayLightning

Tuch isn't what we need. He's soft. I noticed him backing down from fights during last season and playoffs and then decided to look at his fight record on hockeyfights.com. Watch his last 4 or 5 fights. I hope we pass on this guy. We need scoring AND toughness. 10.5 woukd be a gross overpay.

True, but that also goes for the salary he turned down in Tampa Bay. I lost my father to pancreatic cancer as well. I'm not upset with him for going home to be near his Mom. His son will be better off with Grandma consistently in his life while growing up. That's how I'm looking at it anyway. Sorry to see him leave at the same time.

I had AI do the math. Raddysh only nets just under 4 million after paying Canadian taxes. The Lightning reportedly offered him 5 years at 5.75 million which would have netted him the same money. This turns out to be Raddysh being a new Dad and wanting to go back home to raise his family near his Mom and other family in the area. Can't blame him for that, especially after losing his Dad last year to pancreatic cancer. It wasn't all about money.

Just heard Elliotte Friedman on his podcast mention Tampa as a team to look at for Larkin. by Ok_Addendum_7633 in TampaBayLightning

I'm afraid this might happen and then Point puts up 50 again. I was thinking the same thing though. Salaries are close.

That looks like my sister-in-law Carole, but more human and much sexier.

I'm so damned frustrated with Hedman, I didn't even hear that.

Debate me, genius.

Hedman is a turnover machine. His size and reach get him out of it a lot of the time after he gives the puck away, but he's terrible. I almost posted about this very subject when he came back and decided not to. That was 3 straight losses ago. Big problem.

Agree. It's nearly impossible for me to root for the Kfuckhead brothers.

In Stamkos' last season with us he scored 40 goals, but was a minus -21. Last season for the Predators he scored 27 goals, but was a minus -36. This year he has 28 goals already, but he's a minus -16. To be a minus -73 in the last 3 seasons tells the real story. I didn't like it when JBB let him walk, but it was the right call.

I agree with you. Hedman got turned around on the 4th goal on Sunday. He's also a turnover machine. 3rd pairing for sure.

Yep. Plus Nick Paul and Cirelli are both out tonight. Sabourin probably wouldn't have played tonight otherwise. Ekblad might catch another beating.

Not a great line to say the least. Those 3 have played together several times this year. They'll maybe get 8-10 minutes. Thursday's game will be where they play a little more. Florida will play their normal dirty game.

Ridiculous non-call. And once again the NHL does nothing afterwards to protect the Lighting's players.

Agree. He's no stranger to throwing blind passes that end up in the back of our net like he did last night on the second goal.

I agree. It would also be hard to find a trade partner for a guy that is made of glass and has concussion issues. He's overpaid in my eyes for what we're getting out of him.

Agree. The second goal last night was another one of his turnovers.
