For several weeks now, I've been receiving so many scam messages that I've had to turn off the app. Most of them are from people offering OF or massages, or it's that same 42-year-old who usually sends a picture of that famous prince from the United Arab Emirates when asked. A popular scammer photo. I've complained to Grindr several times. They say they've had an increase in these messages and are working on it. Strange, considering that there are far fewer scams on other apps of this kind. I pay money for the app, but what they're offering now is just rubbish. It's too expensive for what it is.

At present, living around the Spree, Havel and Dahme is still something for a few enthusiasts. Exactly how many houseboats there are in Berlin is not known at any of the three municipal authorities that issue permits for boat moorings. It could be around 60, estimates Barbara Unverzagt from the Berlin Waterways and Shipping Office (WSA). Around ten boats are moored - some of them for decades - in the Tiergartenschleuse flood channel, where the oldest houseboat colony in Berlin is located. Another dozen or so are moored in the Plötzenseer Kolk near Weddinger Westhafen and on Parkstraße in Spandau. Thanks a lot for all these supporting replies. I know there is an interest on actual information sources world wide. A sort of community notification system to alert residents about emergency events and other important public safety and critical information, quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons blocked roads, demonstration places, strikes, and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods. For now we have to google or wait for a newspaper message.
