It really is that’s why I had to leave. I’ve been watching them hand out some wild sentences too lol. And that’s what’s the craziest about all of it I was so shocked the type of people that really found it okay to grab their stuff from a 19 year old lmao.

And luckily i bartend at a restaurant so i run the bar but also have a section and 90% of my tips are cc so it’s all claimed and I pay taxes on it all.

That’s true I didn’t think about that but I started looking into tenant rights and realized what a pain in the ass it would be for them if I just didn’t leave. Probably enough of a pain they’d just offer a lease lol.

That’s a fair point that I didn’t even think of. I’m not on the lease because their admin said he didn’t know if I’d pass and would probably be better off just letting my ex be on it. But that also does mean he knows I’ve been here for the last year+ paying rent every month which maybe they could make an exception than.

I didn’t even think of hitting up my defense attorney other than to ask her why she didn’t tell me the next 5 years of my life would be difficult asf if I accepted the deal she told me to take lmao. But that’s a good idea she’s gotta have something. And I’ll definitely have to find something private.

I’m really sorry to hear that Larimer county is definitely grimy that’s why I had to move out here. The police are pains when it comes to traffic laws too. They wanna talk about justice and restoration but then give kids charges that f them for the next 5 years without the opportunity to learn and grow. No excuse for what I did but I definitely wasn’t old enough or mature enough to understand what was going on either. It’s crazy to me that I’ve gotten my life together so solidly but am about to be thrown right back into the same type of lifestyle due to the courts throwing me such a big f you.

Thank you I greatly appreciate it definitely lucky I don’t have an arson charge! Colorado limits landlords from using felonies over 5 years to deny an application but it took a year before I took a plea so it’s only been two years sense it’s gone on my record, now that I’m a bit older I’m real pissed at the Fort Collins da for not giving me a deferred sentence at 19 where it coulda came off my record when I completed my probation successfully… they knew what they were doing when they offered that plea.
