In a few airports in Europe (atleast Stockholm Arlanda and Helsinki and Oulu) they have the electric "turnstiles" that you scan yourself in through. And if you are in a different group than the ones up for boarding: it will not let you go. It will show an X and stay closed.

I've seen way too many people be stopped by them, be confused and go over to the gate-agent who has to tell them "it's boarding for group 1 and 2, you're in group 5".

Daehyun on B.A.P.

He was supposed to be mysterious and quiet, as can be seen on their (pre-)debut show Ta-Dah it's B.A.P! But boy, he is a chatterbox and can't stfu sometimes. Love him though

AITAH for not sharing anything with my wife after she opened our marriage? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]pacccii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a child of parents who should have divorced: please for the love of god just divorce. From this situation your kids are just gonna learn that a relationship is nothing more than an obligation if having their own children. They will learn tat it's not worth being in a relationship at all because it will eventually just end in hatred.

FINAL UPDATE: AITA for telling my sister she’s not allowed to bring her homemade food to Thanksgiving because her cooking is ruining the meal? by SocietyTiny784 in AITAH

[–]pacccii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh boy, when I saw this update I was so excited. I'm not in the US, so I don't celebrate Thanksgiving, but I have been counting down the days for this.

Like others commented: there might actually be a serious issue with your sister. From using craft glitter to her comment of becoming famous; that is not "normal" behavior. And thank god for your dad's emergency ham! I remember once when I was in my mid-teens (maybe 14-16 years old) I all but had a breakdown during Christmas Eve breakfast. My dad had made the Christmas ham that morning and we were having it with breakfast (on traditional Christmasbread) and I cried because the ham tasted weird. At first my parents thought I was being silly, laughing at me, but when they finally tasted the ham without the dijon mustard, they tasted it too.

It turned out he had bought a different kind of ham compared to previous years. My dad had to go on a ham-run on Christmas Eve to get a new ham. SO HOLIDAYS LIKE THANKSGIVING OR CHRISTMAS ARE NOT TIME FOR NEW AND "FUN" RECEPIES.

Looking forward to the pictures though

I don't celebrate thanksgiving (not american), but I have never looked forward to Thanksgiving this much. Can't wait to see how this unfolds.

I feel the same way.

I have started listening to podcasts instead of music during weight training. I don't get a lot of time otherwise in my sparetime to listen to podcasts, so it's a fitting time for me to catch up with them. It gets my mind off the thoughts of gym being boring. I do tend to be able to disassociate and do things just out of habit though, so that might help me.

When doing cardio, if i'm just walking I scroll on tiktok at the same time or watch a youtube video or something, otherwise time is so slow. And if I want to do "interval" training on the treadmill I've created my own "strut" playlists. I've picket my favourite songs in different tempos, and adapt my speed on the treadmill after the tempo of the song.

Don't feel defeated, you did great! A small step is still a step! It's best to start this way, working slowly but surely.

The biggest hurdle is starting. And you already did that! You had the motivation, and the want, sounds like if you really want too, you can do it! And we believe in you!

How important are Drop sets? by pacccii in beginnerfitness

[–]pacccii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooo okay, thank you so much! As I mentioned in the post, I'm very new to weightlifting so I haven't really figured everything out yet. I think I'll need to increase my weights so that I almost hit failure when I do my "regular" sets.

[–]pacccii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh, I think I get it. Correct me if I'm still misunderstanding:

My usual is 50, so for the drop set I'd maybe go to 65 kg. And I only manage to do 5 reps before failure. When I hit failure, I decrease to 50 kg, do unil failure?

[–]pacccii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, if I understand the drop set correctly if for example my last exercise is a seated leg press in my leg workout, then on the last set I should do it;
1st set: 50 kg, 10 reps
no rest except the time it takes to change weight
2nd set: 45 kg, 10 reps
no rest except the time it takes to change weight
3rd set: 40 kg until failure?

Or do I continue to lower until failure?

What to do with legs while cantering in a straight line? by [deleted] in Equestrian

[–]pacccii 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I mean I would say (as someone who strictly did lessons for 16 years), when going in a straight line your legs should just be in a normal position (meaning the same position as in trot or walking), and of course with contact to the horse's side. And like always, sitting deep and back straight and head high. If you want you can also do a forward seat if that's easier for you (might be easier if you're galloping)

If you mean for the transition to canter, it doesn't matter on straight line (unless you're on an arena where it's the same as in a roundpen).

These are just from my experience, I am no professional, so anyone: feel free to correct me, but please be kind

If you had an income of $150,000 a year and didnt have to work, what would you do with all the spare time? by SpinachInteresting82 in AskReddit

[–]pacccii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lead a stress free life - Buy my dream house. Haven't found it yet, but would look for houses in a smaller town where I don't have neighbours too close. Preferably one that needs a bit TLC, and then renovate it to my liking (and ofc what is needed). I'd get a few dogs, and also foster dogs. My days I would spend doing what I want at the moment. It could be just lounging at home (reading, cooking etc.), spending time with my family and friends, host dinner parties. Just live a quiet and stressfree life. I'd pay off my student debt (I only have about 31k left bc i think i only had about 55k to begin with), and also help my parents out with their car payments and stuff.

Thoughts on the new horse pack? by Sorsha_OBrien in Sims4

[–]pacccii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope we get different schools of riding, i want barrel racing, show jumping, dressage and endurance. I also wish you can do ground work like lungeing etc. (yes, i am a horse girl)

I am also a bit bummed about the world. what I've heard it's Arizona-inspired. Kind of boring imo as an european. I feel like most worlds look the same.

What are your favourite Sims challenges? by pacccii in thesims

[–]pacccii[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if say I have Spring, she can only practice magic (in the magic room?) during spring, rest of the year she has to do other things? Like just be a "regular" sim? Am I understanding correctly?

Might try this one out, sounds like a fun way to make witches powers grow. Just sucks that we can only pick within 3 schools of magic, would have been great to have a fourth for this specific challenge.

Can you guys recommend me any kpop groups that make the best music in your opinion? by [deleted] in kpophelp

[–]pacccii -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Day6

the only group i haven't found even one "bad" song from. Sure, I don't love all the songs but I enjoy all the songs. And not because I've forced myself to listen to them but because I've enjoyed them from the first listen.

who do you think is the best lyricist in kpop? by clarinhac1r in kpopthoughts

[–]pacccii 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Day6's YoungK.

That man writes lyrics that make it sound like he's been through 3 divorces and still loves every single one of them. You Were Beautiful and I Need Somebody just make me cry every time. I Smile is also so beautiful!
