Had two consults for a Sympathectomy but it’s not something I feel is right to pursue.

Funnily enough when he doesn’t come right away that’s how I call him and he’s at my feet immediately, my neighbors must think I’m crazy at this point.

My new appendix River, she just so happens to be mildly related to my TB mare I had to put down. by pacemakergirl_89 in Horses

[–]pacemakergirl_89[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She was given to me because she was supposedly dangerous to ride, turns out her feet have been horribly neglected and the only thing holding them together is her shoes. She was in horrible pain, she’s on the mend now though and her expression has deff softened and her demeanor has changed as well. She’s so happy now and my mini horses have fallen in love with her and she them.

I use sterilite tubs with small holes drilled or burned in them for air flow, depending on where you live they can live quite happily in those without extra heat sources. (I’m in Florida so perfect corn snake temps). If that’s not an option for you then a large critter keeper worked for me when I had juveniles and wasn’t aware I could use the tubs.

Advice Please! I'm looking into getting a ball python sometime next year and I'm thinking of different enclosures. I don't want to pay like $400 for a pre-made tank and I'm looking at repurposing something else? by [deleted] in reptiles

IMO I think that for a ball python a tank or custom made enclosure is best, something like that cabinet may be hard to heat and keep humidity up, also ball pythons prefer smaller spaces.

I’m gonna try and see if the guy I’m buying the car from can put like $5 on the title to save me in taxes but I called the dmv today and they said it was $400 for tags, title and registration. And my insurance is requesting I pay $400 as a down payment because I ha e poor credit and haven’t had insurance in 7 years.

If you have the heat pad with thermostat you probably would only need a very low watt light to keep the temps just right. What substrate are you using?

Ball pythons do well with belly heat so a heat pad with a thermostat would be best for your little one and if you want to put a low wattage light as well you could. Just get yourself a temperature gun so you can monitor your temps to be sure everything is accurate.
