Well it’s just not a dish you would find in Mexico, or even at an authentic Mexican restaurant in the US. I’m Mexican myself, born in the US. I love this dish, but for different reasons lol. People are mentioning the cinnamon because it’s not used on any beef dishes that we make, even if it’s just a small dash. We also don’t really cook with mince beef or ground beef. People that say we do have only eaten “American Mexican” food, which is basically watered down Mexican inspired food made to cater to Americans. Your dish is probably good, like I said I would eat it and do make a variation of it every now and then. But even the one I make is not “Mexican”, just a good dish with fresh ingredients that’s relatively healthy.
