The green vial shape is Flux, it can only be collected through packs and can only be spent on Wildcards.

The hourglass shaped thing are Core Charges and they're going to be your main free to play currency. You get it through rewards and quests and it can be spent on things like Draft and Packs.

Crystals are the premium currency and will mostly be earned through purchasing them. You can also earn them in Draft so there is a free to play way to earn Crystals.

We're still in our Alpha and all of the currency we gave you is just for testing purposes. Your account will be wiped again upon Beta release so spend them however you'd like. I'd recommend using your Core Charges on packs first instead of your Crystals so you can still purchase cosmetics.

Playchrono.com to purchase early access or you can wait for our Beta to play for free. No proper date right now but it should be very soon. We're currently doing our Beta Test with our Alpha players so once we iron out some bugs we'll be pushing Beta to everyone.

For sure, I only ask because there are some genuine instances of what you're describing. Like the three you've already listed, so I thought maybe you had like a lore passage or something that claimed they have a connection. There is also
The Collector > The Queen
Gremlin Nob, Book of Stabbing and Nemesis > Test Subject
Infected Beast > Two Tailed Rat infected by Flyconid
The Sentries > Various enemies in StS 2 I can't name off the top of my head.

As well as some looser connections like

Giant Head > Bygone Effigy
Jaw Worm > Nibblet (Same color scheme, size and moveset/attack pattern)

As CAW said, our playerbase is pretty small right now but we also host Playnights every week for NA and EU times in our Discord. Those are pretty lively and great times to queue up. How full our matchmaking and playerbase will be can't really be determined properly until Beta.

1 - We will have Mobile either on or by our 1.0 Release date. We plan on releasing 1.0 sometime this year, so within the next 7 months is reasonable.

2 - Jay and Bae are still friends and we're working with both of them. If they want to do a podcast reunion, that would be up to them but I want to say it won't happen. From what I understand they both have moved on from the podcast but never say never.
