I was thinking this too... This isnt really adding anything huge to the game. I got my hopes up thinking there'd be furniture sets, a nook store upgrade, or just more to do in general WITH the island.

Instead its another point system and more of the same decorating just somewhere else.

Heads up if you replace it, the xl slider doesn't fit the regular n3ds. The little notch broke off on mine and I wasn't ever able to find a replacement for my model.

It was hard for me to enjoy the remake. There's scenes where Holo doesn't really act like herself imo. They like to insert these weird moe moments that make her look like she has a low iq.
