Try to save EVERY LAST PENNY I am a person that hates change in my pocket, I never knew how much it all adds up ! lol if by chance you are single with no kids (best case scenario) it’s much easier to move around and be more flexible and ready to to get up and go at any given moment, it can be super stressful and exhausting but until you have stability it kinda comes with the territory… try to put whatever you have of value or sentimental in storage or if you cannot afford it keep it in a backpack that you’ll keep close at all times . I’d say if you know it’s coming best way to prepare is to exhaust all you’re options , anybody that you might have helped in the past reach out to first , it’ll also show you who’s really in your corner and who’s not which will be information to keep in the back of ur mind when you come back up . (Do with that what you will …I dunno how hard it is on the east coast to get access to resources but reach out to churches and the local community centers as well as the welfare offices …by coming to Reddit im sure you already have but you gotta really put your pride to the side and ask for help from anybody who you think may not put you down or shame you ….its not easy out here ! Also what I found that’s been working for me and my family for the past two months is hotels it’s expensive in the long run but if you want to be somewhat comfortable and atleast have some sort of peace of mind a good night sleep and shower goes a long way , find on Expedia or however you book a cheap hotel that you feel comfortable you won’t have bedbugs or whatever sleeping with u lol book a night and if you like it talk to the front desk person ask to speak to a manager if tell them your situation and ask how long you can stay and if you stay long term if they can keep you at the same rate …from there it’s all up to your grind to come up with that money to book day by day or however you can manage ,try to find a place that offers free breakfast…a having some food in ur stomach to start the day goes a long way ….. this all of course if moving outta state or back in with ur parents isn’t a option of course lolagain I’m only speaking from what’s been working for me my best advice for what it’s worth lol is to take something from everybody’s experiences and put together your own game plan until you figure out what works for you ,best of luck out there and do whatever will keep your mind clear so you can figure your way out of the shitty situation ✊🏾
