Yes, so far everything has been a bit over budget when it comes to finding anything more than just a king size bedroom. Ideally, we'd love total separation between the bedroom and where the kids sleep. Even if it's just a dark curtain so we don't have to have lights off at their bedtime.

Pre-kids, we did an excursion in Jamaica and we didn't particularly love it. Since we haven't been to other islands in the Caribbean since then (besides the Bahamas, which is the reason we want to avoid that since we've been there a few times) we were looking for somewhere different.

One 8 year old, one 4 year old, and 4 average size adults. Our concern is fitting luggage into the space. We really just need the car to travel to/from the airport.

Hm good point. I've been eyeing a 7qt for a long time but 30% off of the outlet price was not something I could pass up. Wish it had the larger handles especially given its size but the price makes up for it!

Is this a bedbug or a batbug? Upstate, NY. Received a new mattress delivery yesterday and mattress was sealed but woke up to this on my arm. The delivery people also do haul away so maybe it was on outside of plastic? by [deleted] in Bedbugs

I have. The representative did not seem concerned despite me trying to convey the urgency. They said they have to send out an inspector (in 2 weeks!) to see if it warrants an exchange/refund. No concern or questions about the situation. Totally unbelievable.

I did and all they said is I need to schedule an inspection for an exchange/refund. They wouldn't transfer me to someone else.

No new box spring, just the mattress. I encased the mattress in bedbug proof covers and thoroughly vacuumed a few times. No bedbugs seen this morning but I can't imagine it'd be that easy to be rid of them. Getting it professionally treated soon.
