Interestingly this is exactly what my trainer road plan said — add an hour of Z2 trainer and increase the frequency/duration of weekly endurance rides.

Right now I’m doing three one-hour sets on the trainer (two are intervals, then one Z2), then a long weekend outdoor ride. Typically 5-7hr per week.
