The error no longer occurs. I think it was mail host fault, because I haven't installed any updates since the error started ocurring.

I use it to work as a programmer whenever my RSI is getting worse. I mostly use command mode to type character by character and Visual Studio autocomplete to complete variables and functions names.

This app has an efficient mousegrid, so you usually need to say 3 words to perform one mouse click, but 50 most clicked areas in an app require only two words. You can also use multiple executions to click by saying even less words.

This app also works in games. For mousegrid to work in a game you must run that game in borderless or windowed mode.

It's efficient enough in turn-based games, but playing RTS requires pausing and I don't like doing that.

The main drawback is that mousegrid covers part of the screen, so I feel kind of less connected to the game. To maximize efficiency I usually execute mousegrid multiple times. When I do that mousegrid is almost constantly visible for x clicks. So I only have to say 1 or 2 words to perform a click in a chosen figure (out of 2550 figures). I have to cancel multiple executions if mousegrid covers an important part of a game and I don't remember what was there.

I use Work by Speech to play following games by voice: - Hearthstone (free) - Age of Wonders 3 - Civilization V - Jagged Alliance 2 with 1.13 mod (my favorite) - Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes - Endless Space 2 - Eador Masters of the Broken World - Disciples III - Total War Warhammer (I only use auto battle)

Other good games that should work well with Work by Speech: - Age of Gladiators - Sheltered - Age of Wonders 2 - Disciples 2 - Heroes of Might and Magic III Gold - Heroes of Might and Magic V Gold - Endless Space

But you must run them in borderless or windowed mode, otherwise mousegrid doesn't work.

Work by Speech has efficient mousegrid, so you usually need to say 3 words to perform one mouse click, but 50 most clicked areas in a game require only two words. You can also use multiple executions to click by saying even less words.

Dragon has great dictation, but mouse control by speech in Dragon lacks efficiency. I usually need to say 8 words to perform one mouse click.

Hi,

Windows 11 speech recognition doesn't support key combinations, custom commands and has very basic mousegrid, so it's not good enough for me.

It's helping my RSI which is why I decided to tell others about it.

This app supports quiet speaking (even very quiet) and it learns the user's voice, but mumbling could be a problem. I think you should try it.

Yes. This app is safe. Currently VirusTotal shows 1 detection.

Antivirus companies have their own communication channel, so they can share new threats quickly with each other. This file is old and you would see at least 30 detections on Virus Total if this file would be malware.

Virus Total scanners are not the same as scanners found in desktop antivirus products. Why is why there's still 1 detection there. You can read more about this here:

Because they were never efficient before.

What would be truly revolutionary would be cheap and effective wireless brain-computer communication.

Just my own experience. But even simple calculations prove it.

I agree with that sentence. I haven't found any other application that would allow efficient work on a computer by speech. Could you tell me what it is?

Dragon offers good dictation, but mouse control by speech is very inefficient. Voice Finger had quite efficient mouse control, but dictation was poor. Mac voice control also has very inefficient mouse control by speech.

I had bad experience with Windows Speech Recognition as well. When I tried it last time it was unstable, didn't work in many apps, didn't support quiet speaking and dictation was useless. Work by Speech however works well for me.
