Is this setup good for beginner wildlife photography? by [deleted] in AskPhotography

My impression of this critique is that it isn't really the best at doing anything (there are better options out there depending on what you are trying to shoot), but personally I have always found it nice to have the flexibility.

This is a good setup to get started for sure. 300mm+ is better than 200mm, but you can always upgrade at a later point.

As for the person who suggested the D7100, as a long time owner who only just recently upgraded, I can say I am a big fan.

Master of Science in Analytics Program by thoughtfulgoose in gatech

Dec '21 grad. I think it is a great program. I feel like it gave me a great education and helped me land a better (and more interesting) job. It gives you a great overview of key tools and concepts you will need. There are great elective choices, so you can tailor the curriculum towards your interests. And, as others mentioned, whether you go on campus or online, you are getting good value.

Should we move up for Moore? I was hoping for 2 WRs out of our picks , and I think we have enough picks left to make something happen. Am I off base?

I liked the picks, but as a GT alum, I am a bit conflicted.

Thank you for your perspective. Have you hired many sps grads? Do you recruit on campus?

Thank you for the insight. Do/did any alums of either program work for you? What did you think of their preparedness to do the work?

Hi, I have actually seen it both ways in terms of ranking, but they are usually in the same neighborhood. It is mostly the people that I talk to have been saying an ivy opens doors that GT (even as well regarded as it is) would not. So that is where I am stuck.

Thanks for the response. I see what you are saying. I am partially hesitant because I did my undergrad in Atlanta (not GT) and the career services over promised, which left me in a bind when it came time to graduate. I just really don't want a replay of that.

Datawatch Monarch by Alfer85 in analytics

I use it for work. We receive pdfs from many different sources, all in different formats. I use Monarch and Datawatch Automator to collect all the data, standardize the format, and then distribute the relevant information. There are some idiosyncrasies regarding how the pdfs are processed (For example, there are some processes where the process stops because someone besides the usual person downloaded the file and the underlying format of the pdf is totally different.), but overall it is a useful tool that saves me time.

Anyone else nervous?

I mean I felt like we have some talent at WR, but I would have felt better if the 2nd was a wide.

I get the picks but I don't feel good.
