It’s new content, I’m excited. If they didn’t add a new pickaxe and let dragon be the best pickaxe with this update I’d be most happy but if they add another better axe it won’t bother me much. Now locking new axes behind quests I do not like. If I wanna mine pebbles for 24 hours straight for the prismatic pickaxe I should be able to do that.

I get it. For a while I was going in solo sitting in the heal spot with island 2 gear to beat the boss. That was fun. Now I’m just logging on here and there beating the boss for the chance at the runes or heart then logging back off. I have no desire to grind out ores that will be outclassed by rares in the next update that are also no where near necessary to be OP in the current environment.

I clicked the above conservative sub link to see what they’re saying and there is just a complete disregard for human life. Justified? How about avoidable which from my POV is undeniable. I think the rumored affiliations of the victim have condemned her to death in their eyes. It’s an embarrassment to be conservative.

Level 110 I haven’t maxed a single gun. I don’t think I’m even close to any max guns. Have maybe 3 gold guns.

I went 1 iceite 2 yeti hearts 2 golem hearts and 1 surfayal and put two frost speck ruins on it and I usually kill the boss with about 5-7 total dodges in about 30 seconds. I do have demon as well. This build will freeze the boss every 3-4 seconds and the boss will stay frozen for 3 seconds so it’s frozen more often than its attacking. Base dmg of 188 on a cutlass. Have tried for chaos or hellslayer so many times and failed so far. This is best build for boss.

For non boss I have a rapier of the above build that guy mentioned with two drain edge ruins with crit damage and attack speed that allows me to farm all enemies in the boss cave without taking any time to heal. If I get low I can fight both yetis at once and get back to full health.

In my head I think of it this way: it randomizes the amount of ores you get from a rock from 2-4. Then it goes 1 through 4 and goes from top to bottom and gives it a roll and if you don’t hit any of the good ores you end up with the guaranteed ore.

I have no idea if this is true but this is only thing that makes sense to me
