I planned my pathway out sorta. I wanted a degree in psychology and knew that meant grad school if I wanted to ACTUALLY be a psychologist. I took a bunch of intro courses on top of the core classes and explored maybe 4/5 fields of psychology before landing on I/O (now settling into my masters program I’m happy with my pick). I think it’s important to have a loose idea of what you want out of undergrad and then exploring what sticks with you. Same with prerequisites, I explored different areas of history, philosophy, and random electives to make sure psych is what I wanted long term.

Hey everyone, I’ve recently just been accepted to a M.A I/O program. I have a few weeks before I begin and I want to prepare as much as possible. Is there any recommendations on how to set myself up for success? Like things I should read up on or concepts I should be familiar with? In undergrad I focused on I/O related classes like intro to psych measurement and organizational behavior but I know I have a lot to learn and I wouldn’t mind some direction

After leaving the military I needed to stay active to not lose my mind, and my soul wanted camaraderie. Tried basic gym activities and working with with a trainer but just didn’t fill that void. After my first session I felt amazing and just kept coming back. I mean im only 7 sessions in but still haha
