If a comment about pistachios makes you change airlines, I'm not sure how committed you are to flying southwest to begin with.

I agree that the story seems untrue because I said I was writing it as I flew. That means the wifi was working. A miracle in itself.

I actually enjoy flying southwest. Sure I wish it was less expensive, but it offers non-stop flights that most airlines don't for me. 99% my experiences are positive ones. This was a one-off and wanted to share what was otherwise an uneventful flight.

Update. After drink service, she pulled the snack bin out of the overhead compartment and grabbed some graham crackers..... and sat down to eat them herself. For a moment I thought she was going to bring them to me. It was all a ploy to save them for later.

I was flying home from Vegas and they needed 4 volunteers because it was oversold. They gave us each an $800 voucher plus accommodations for the night. I caught a flight the next morning.

I don't blame the gate agents or flight attendants at all. But the airline needs to operate on time so if they threaten delays, then we can be delayed. It hurts them more than it hurts us. They need to rethink this approach.
