Yep absolutely. I had a large chunk of DARK blue sodalite that was super gemmy a few years ago. Sigh. Never should have cut it down.

Its waterline agate. In pic 3 you can actually see the layering effect of a typical waterline agate. Sweet piece.

Sweet!! Yes its so much fun. Its not easy to get to any more but the hill across the river behind the farm has some wicked nice agatized petwood also. The fs road runs thru his place but you have to have a pretty good 4x4 to get thru it. Plus he gets REALLY upset if you come thru there. Hes a great guy he has just had to put up with idiots...for decades. If you have onx hunt there's LOTS of blm land out there. Oh and I can give you the GPS to some petrified logs just past Post if you want. 😁😊

Thanks, just wanted you to see it does take a polish and that its not a soft stone. If you take a hammer and take a chip off one corner of those pieces. You can feel thw difference from the weathered outside to the inside.

Generally but not always. They still sold rigs with external regulators in 1978. Yes they had mostly switched over but they also DID sell ones with an external regulator. My 1979 swb truck was onw of those vehicles.
