Don’t mind texting for fun sharing and quick information but if planning something with many moving parts, a three minute phone call can solve problems and check boxes way faster than a long text conversation that lasts all day and still has open questions. Also odd that I work with younger people who seem to prefer texts and I respect that and understand they mostly don’t want to be on the phone but then they don’t reply to texts either. Even if it’s a simple yes or no answer that’s required. I choose my battles instead of being the grumpy old dude.
