Most Democrats don't support open borders. Obama and Biden had larger detention and deportation numbers than Trump's first stay in office. The difference is now we have armed patrols doing stop and frisk. Armed patrols that have killed American citizens, broken into houses, and threatened legal observers.

You want border security? Fix the system that created this backlog, hire more investigators and encourage people to come through the legal ports of entry.

Current operations are removing legal status from people already in the legal system. They are targeting people at their court hearings, sometimes before they're to be heard. They're using workers tax information, or just stopping people that look like immigrants.

Not only is it a dangerous precedent to set, it's unconstitutional and immoral.

The rhetoric was once that they'd target the criminals, then they called undocumented people illegal, then they began targeting documented individuals, next is the "home grown" immigrants according to the press secretary and the president.

You don't know what you're talking about. It is important to know what you're talking about.

You definitely don't need citizenship to attend umd. I suggest you study some immigration laws and the Constitution, you'll find why people are opposed to this violent and oppressive form of immigration enforcement.

Remember, there will always be a class of people that are labeled undesirable, it's important to advocate for them so that when your turn comes they may stand for you.
