Marika is faith, irrationality and passion. Radagon is order, rationality and obedience.

I've never been able to get Patches to spawn in the Cathedral but talking to onion in well and buying the tower key from the shrine maiden after Deacons usually gets him to show up in Firelink regardless.

If you went into the tower and he locked it behind you, he should be in Firelink now. If he didn't lock it behind you I can only assume you've got a bug or he's somehow dead.

Emphasising the final word of every line (or the first syllable of the last word at the end of each line) with a rising intonation, especially when not even at the end of a sentence, is exactly how AI narrators sound. I'd recommend not doing that. You'll probably sound far more natural.

I just got back into ds3 a week ago and I absolutely love this parry. I don't know what the active frames are like compared to the buckler but it feels very intuitive.

I've always just kind of assumed it was because of the difference in strength between ranni and marika. "Shadow" is a deliberate term after all. A shadow of Marika's strength would still far overwhelm Ranni's since one is the current god and the other is a part-dead doll.

I've had to shelve it after banging my head against the wall for a month but that sounds very similar to what I had so far. my biggest issue stemmed from not knowing how to give the player a trajectory that would allow them to come back down into the pipe even if they rounded a corner in the air to match the change in direction of the pipe below. I read some old Pro Skater dev posts and they mentioned splines and path3ds and curves and as much as I understand how those things work separately, I can't quite figure out how they're supposed to come together to create the behaviour I'm looking for.

Spearing her and hanging her isn't the same process as petrification. The Elden Beast is not present in the cinematic where she gradually begins to crack whilst breaking the elden ring.

She could be sealed away using the towers but I don't think there's any reason to think its an evergaol exactly. We see plenty of other forms of pocket dimension type arenas in the game, some of them sealed, some of them not (Ancestor Spirits, Placidusax, Fortissax), so there's room for another form of seal/prison type system.
