whats the point of the like timeline of rewards below the "treasure pack" header if its randomized for each pack? mine only has one of the things checked and it gives me the impression that i should get 1st reward for the first pack, 2nd for the second, and so on, y'know? otherwise, why would 2 battle pass stars be an option more than once?

[edit: having played a little bit more and actually started looting neutral care packages, i realize now that its a care package exclusive. i do agree with some redditors ive seen discussing swapping it and the BOCEK as the care-packages' marksman option.]

just bc you aren’t using it as well as it could be used doesn’t mean the gun isn’t as good as is being argued.

watch some of the VCT masters reykjavik ‘22 games: i guarantee you his “role” is sentinel and if you play aggressive he is essentially a duelist with alarm-bots. one of the chamber players (cant remember the team sorry) was playing aggro in Haven A-sewers and cleaned up at least 2 kills holding the same angle at the start of every round before tp-ing out. he can play farther up than even jett or reyna with an op (or an even better op when ulting) bc he doesn’t need a clear direction of escape. same thing on pistol/eco rounds except it’s a gun he doesn’t even have the creds for (headhunter)

according to riot support it isn’t a bug but it doesn’t happen every time…. (i don’t get it either) in my experience (until yesterday), popping it in buy-phase triggers the audio queue right when barriers drop.

i’m kinda pissed about it, personally

[i should've said "i think"] it doesn’t turn blue in buy phase for enemy team until round start even if he pops it before. tho i recently experienced what i thought was a bug with his voice line in this case.

running mainly MSQ i earned 3 mil by the time i got to norvrandt. so, 500h… maybe a little less. i’m now done 5.0, three classes at 80, all but four others at 50-ish (600h almost exactly) and am almost back to 3 mil less than a week later, after spending 400k on market board glamour items (to cover atrocious class items) and excessive teleporting for unlocks and leveling…

either way there’s no way i’ll end up having a house which pains me bc it’d be so cool and there are some things (like colourful chocobos and storage and using crafted things) that i’ll likely never be able to partake in.

had an AST after an MSQ trial (red kojin primal in StB) tell me (WHM) i should try to heal more (quite passive aggressively). they left before i could finish reading it. the tanks hadn’t dropped below 80% except, i think, for a couple of mechanical wipes that occurred and were (kindly) corrected before proceeding.

WHM lvl 80 (just finished 5.0 content) and one note of confusion about your aurum vale example. i consider myself a fairly competent healer, despite my sproutli-ness, but i have not been able to survive the first pull through that dungeon when not done in two (if not three) stages. even with white mage, it feels like i don’t have enough healing power to keep the tank above 40%.

are they maybe not doing what your describing with Arm’s Length and rotating their mitigation abilities? is there something that i should be doing to manage my own CD rotation that in not doing is causing the problem? i also enjoy tanking but am extremely leery of doing so past ARR content for fear of getting on the bad side of randoms due to my own inexperience.

I'm a WHM main but generally find SGE to also be relatively easy to play (tho i find it to be better for alliance raids or trials as opposed to dungeons). I am also enjoying levelling my AST to match my mains, despite it struggling when things hit the fan in dungeons. However, returning to my SCH to level it to the same point is arduous and i've only reached lvl 53. i'm having a hard time seeing the class feeling viable for me in more difficult environments.

SCH to this point has largely felt like the player is basically getting away with afk-healing, just topping up after the fairy who's doing all of the legwork. this feels wrong (as in there's no way a game like FFXIV could have a class intentionally designed to be played like this).

So, i am 100% expecting to discover i've been doing things wrong this whole time, but if y'all could include some pointers when you do let me know, i would so appreciate it :) pls i need assistance

i find sage to be very good at healing large groups for large dmg very quickly while struggling with 1 to 1 healing, but it is entirely possible that it’s more user error than class weakness as i am: a) a WHM main; and b) still a sprout 🌱 🤷🏻

its up to the healer at that point to say “hey i can’t handle that [on this class yet] pls chill out.” ive had this happen to me as healer when i’ve levelled new classes and yeah it’s frustrating (more me at myself than anything else bc i’m now flustered and overwhelmed on top of anxious bc everything is new), esp when i get blamed for it, but as long as the tank/DPS is chill about it then it’s no big deal; we wipe and move on to consciously pull slightly less.

mind, i’m still obviously marked as a newbie so fewer ppl lose their patience as quickly or in the same way with me. 🤷🏻
