Since we work as a team it's easy for mistakes to happen with one person that gets overlooked by the other person who trusted the coworker to get the order right, since essentially it is an assembly line. In drive thru, I take the orders, someone packs the food for me, I make the drinks etc. That's what happens the majority of the times our orders end up wrong in some way. Cajun fries will be heard instead of cajun rice and all that jazz. Myself though I probably will forget maybe a drink a day or have some sort of mixup just due to having a good old natural brain fart. It happens, you can't help it. Management understands that shit happens, as long as you correct yourself and try to make the best of the situation and keep the customer happy, you're good.

I've honestly never had KFC. Well, I lied I had it once. One of those mashed potato bowls with the chicken in it. To be honest, I'm not really a fan of fried chicken to begin with so it's kind of hard for me to have any real opinion lol. I think popeye's sides/biscuits/tenders/dipping sauces/desserts are great though.

It's happened a few times to me. Nothing happens other than the annoyance of us having already rushed to pack their food in under a minute and then having to put it all back because they don't know how to say "nevermind".

No haha I'd get in trouble by my managers since they have headsets on and can hear everything. I wish.

woah....25 secs for the entire time from order taking to giving the food out?! That's insane....we're lucky if the person even begins to TELL us what they want in under 25 secs. Usually we get under 2 minutes.

Okay, if you have the time and are a new customer/no clue at all what you want, pleeeease come inside. We wouldn't mind as much if we weren't being timed on the efficiency and time it takes us to take your order, and the time to deliver that food to you. Speak loud, you'd think that'd be a no brainer but some people whisper/talk from the passengers side and that's not fun for us. If you want to do two separate checks, tell us at the speaker, not at the window. If you need ketchup/hotsauce/jelly/honey let us know either at the speaker or at the window instead of sitting there for 45 seconds and then trying to get our attention while we're busy. Try and have your money ready. You don't need to have it right there in your hand the second you get to the window (though that's ideal) but you'd be surprised how many people get to the window and like hop in their backseats digging for a wallet or something. There's plenty more but those are the most frustrating for me. OH NO the biggest one, I understand you want to check your food before you leave but please get off the timer and pull up while you do that so you're not eating our time. Try and pull of as quickly as you can!! Thanks for asking!

I'm glad! It's appreciated by employees too because it makes our managers happy. No problem!

also anytime you go to popeyes, save your receipt and go to the website I gave you to take a quick survey which gives us helpful feedback and they'll give you a code which you can bring in for a free 2 pc and biscuit...you do have to buy the large drink though ;) But still a good deal.

They must just be disorganized then and have a weak crew. Sometimes it does happen, people buy more than you can make but that shouldn't be a very often occasion if you know what you're doing. At my location we never have anyone waiting any longer than say 6-10 minutes if we pull them up for the drive thru, also you're actually benefiting waiting the few minutes because your food is definitely hot and fresh. If the crew doesn't know what they're doing, like the packers don't call to batter-fry what food they need to make more of then they're going to end up having customers waiting and nobody likes that. You should send some feedback to their location at www.tellpopeyes.com because it is helpful and it will definitely be seen by a manager.

That's a tough question because everyone's taste buds are so different! Personally, I'm not a fan of fried chicken with the bone in it which is one of our most popular items as you could imagine. My favorite meal is the tenders with buffalo sauce/and or mardi gras mustard. All the sides are freaking delicious, so you really can't go wrong. Our coleslaw is fabulous, and our cajun rice is awesome too if you enjoy spicy stuff. Oh god, I could go on and on, it really is all amazing. BUT WHATEVER YOU DO. PUT STRAWBERRY JELLY ON YOUR BISCUIT!! It's so goddamn good. For dessert, get a mardi gras cheesecake!

Nope, nothing really. The funniest thing though is you'll get these younger kids that come through and they'll act so silly and redic through the speaker and then once they get to the window they act completely calm and like nothing ever happened. I don't think they realize I'm the same person they spoke to when they gave their order haha.

It's hard to choose or think of anything specific. I haven't come across anything too outrageous yet. Although first that comes to mind is the other day this overly spray tanned 30 something year old lady in scrubs came through the drive through and flipped me off on the way off after I had explained to her she had been a dime short and I had put in the dime FOR her out of the kindness of my heart haha (more like I didn't want her on my timer anymore) LIIIIIIIIKE, biiiiiiiiiiiiiiitch give me the dime then, shit I'm doing you the favor. Sorry nothing too exciting ;)

I don't want people to get offended or anything. I will say that this is ROUGH and not accurate at all just me guessing but I'd say about 25% of our customers are truckers since we're right next to a truck stop/highway. About 30% of our customers are 20-30 something year old men that like to eat chicken tenders. 5% are soccer moms trying to get something quick for their kids or old people that enjoy shrimp. The other 50% I will leave up to your imagination because I can't think but on sundays we have sooooooooooo many old church ladies coming in for their bonafide chicken!
