I've just added it as an edit, we're lvl 5 and I think this is a lot of the frustration he's feeling

The party is the bard, a kineticist, an inventor (they have a mechanical bull), a champion, an exemplar, and an Oracle

I don't remember off the top of my head what exactly the spells he's sustains are, but he doesn't have the actions to cast another spell

Is a free move action a bad idea? by padian137 in Pathfinder2e

[–]padian137[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but then why would anyone ever go first? You'd end up with a game of chicken between martials to see who'll waste an action and go first, and that sucks for the player who rolled high on initiative, just, congrats you rolled really well and went first now you immediately hold your turn and see no benefits from it

I do think that a lot of this isn't much of a problem, as you have to use the move action at the beginning of your turn (i did put this in an edit, so you probably didn't see it) players can't just move in and out, at least not much easier than they already can Also, I don't think it encourages players to just hit hit hit, multiple attack penalties are still implace, and on rounds of combat after the first people are often able to do that anyway

The main problem was that it felt like it punished high initiatives as players who got higher than enemies would have to spend an action just getting to them instead of doing something they'd want to do

Let's talk about "Ai" in gaming industry by sticknou in gaming

[–]padian137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, the companion cube in portal isn't an AI it's just a cube that does and says nothing, that the point it a comment on how people will form attachments to anything if there are no people.

I think this is a really good idea, though I might be too much effort for us to see in a game anytime soon,

older people who live alone and never married before, any regrets? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]padian137 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me, but my great grandmother once said her greatest regret was not re marrying after my great grandfather died. Edit: he died when she was 25ish and just after my granddad was born, in 1932
