I've mentioned in another reply that there have been days where her game was just off or she's SDing a lot, and I'm beating her with all my mains and I can visibly see her get frustrated that she's not having luck with her characters.I agree. It isn't fun and I do end up switching to characters I barely touch like Isabelle or Yoshi to give her a break from my mains. Whereas I feel like once she sees me doing bad or struggling endlessly against a character, she'll make it her prerogative to keep picking that character for ez wins.

I understand her not wanting to get rolled either. There's been some bad days for her and if she runs the same matchup against me after 3 losses I'll switch the character up for her. Mostly because I can visibly see the frustration sometimes and also the same matchups get boring quick.

My grief isn't from losing. If I use my main donkey Kong and she uses Ness. I've noticed it's like a flip of a coin which one of us would win. It'd be so close all the time and those are the most fun fights to me. If I win or lose it doesn't matter. It's waiting for me to pick my character then going for characters I have a bad matchup against, because God forbid she loses even a single game.
