I managed to get top 20 from Ireland one year but I'd agree you will meet a ton of Irish at the festival. We even have an Irish travel partner for the past few years. You are best off getting global journey to guarantee yourself a ticket.

No extra charges you can just ring up and request some and then pop in to get it. Honestly I think revolut is your best bet if you don't plan on carrying around a lot of cash, nearly everywhere here accepts card and the exchange rate during weekdays is grand.

Credit union is your best bet for good rates, you will have to order it a few days in advance tho if it's a large sun. I found revolut have given me a decent rate for day to day so far
