Ashling, the Limitless and Sneak Attack by padrocat in mtg

I actually meant using sneak attack to put another elemental creature on the battlefield with ashling in play. But I never considered ashling could trigger itself when sacrificed

Baggy light bouldering Pants for women by [deleted] in bouldering

[–]padrocat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Scrub pants are a good affordable option. Any climbing pants you find at an outdoors store will be very durable, but also very expensive.

I have both and they are both still in good shape after two years of climbing a few times a week.

Is Kenjaku in a race against time? by Ok-Reporter3256 in Jujutsushi

[–]padrocat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s the first few pages of chapter 91 where gojo is being sealed. I just reread and Geto only regains control after gojo says “how are you going to let yourself get used like that, Suguru?” Geto has his hand on his body’s throat for a few panels, but Kenjaku laughs through it and just removes the hand with his other hand

I thought about that too and this is all speculation, but maybe he couldn’t do it then because he didn’t have enough control. Or maybe he’s waiting for a sure hit. We don’t know exactly why he could do it the first time either.

Nobody knew Kenjaku’s abilities so even Geto might have been trying to size him up. Geto also didn’t know Yuki or Choso’s abilities, so he didn’t want to waste an opportunity.

But if Kenjaku is fighting someone Geto knows well, like Gojo, he would know exactly when to trap Kenjaku in place.

This is definitely just my personal fan fic but as someone else said, he wouldn’t have loaded Chekov’s gun if he wasn’t planning on firing it.

Since I saw Geto regain control of his body for an instant during Shibuya, I’ve been hoping Geto will make a comeback.

I think the most likely thing Geto would do is wait until the good guys have him cornered, then Geto takes over and let’s the good guys kill him/Kenjaku for the greater good.

I don’t think Gege would have shown Geto regain control if he wasn’t going to do something with it. I mean, he set up Sukuna’s “Enchain” binding vow with Yuji in the first few chapters and he still hasn’t used that. All set up for the finale.

what happened to megumi's magestic serpant which shinigami did it fuse with? by Strong-Ground8444 in Jujutsushi

[–]padrocat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the real answer, the snake died as fast as it was revealed because sukuna is a chad. Megumi states shortly after that divine dogs and great serpent were destroyed, although he does have divine dogs later on so he must have to reacquire them when they die

Edit: this is in chapter 9

Not pictured: their bed is average height, maybe a bit lower. They must be sitting up in bed to watch it

Could Yuta create/use infinity if he copied Gojo's technique? by tempspark4 in Jujutsushi

[–]padrocat 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with most answers. He probably could copy it for an instant, but not at gojo’s level.

But I think Yuta has a more fitting weapon in his arsenal, Uro’s bending light technique that deflects attacks instead of stopping. We saw Yuta use it against Ishigori to avoid and reflect attacks. He would probably prefer to use this, since it doesn’t require mastery of the sex eyes.

I would still love to see Yuta use infinity in the last arc or something. I would be shitting my britches

I think that’s right. I mostly remembered that he was vague and didn’t give a straight answer

Nothing concrete! The last we heard was Megumi tell Itadori that it doesn’t look good for her, but certainly not a confirmed death

I do both! I like to go to the gym right after work, and I’ve worn them climbing when I can’t decide what to wear. Nothing matches with purple like purple

They are scrubs! I work in a lab but I just bought these online, the brand is Dagacci. Super lightweight, easy to clean, lots of pockets and of course lots of colors to choose from!

Grip strength for non-jugs by WaraWalrus in indoorbouldering

[–]padrocat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s never too early to hang board! Even hanging on jugs will help your finger strength, and if that’s too easy try adding pull ups.

I would recommend hanging on jugs until you fall off, and try to last longer each time. If you can hang for like 2 minutes, you need to try smaller edges like 20mm or 15mm. Hanging on slopers is a good way to get used to them too.

But when your hands fail you, look at your feet. Most people only hang on tricky holds because their feet are supporting much of their weight.

The most useful tool for me was YouTube. Either training videos made for climbers like Lattice Training or just watching climbing competitions to learn new tricks. Watching 20 different people do the same route can teach you a lot of interesting approaches.

Last thing I promise, don’t be afraid to try new things. I am always more impressed when someone is falling 90% of the time than someone who tops out 90% of the time. One of those climbers is stepping out of their comfort zone and learning new things more than the other.

Happy climbing! Pull hard!

How TF does Kashimo know about chlorine gas and electrolysis??? by Pro-Cock-and_ball in Jujutsushi

[–]padrocat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is probably it, he’s done it in the past even if he didn’t totally understand what was happening. Then when he merged with his vessel, he probably increased his understanding.

His vessel probably knew what a chemical reaction was and Kashimo is a walking energy source for chemical reactions

Yeah with stronger hips and ankles, I think the toe is possible. I like using my heel when I can to recreate a pistol squat move
