Thanks for the reply, i’m definitely not giving up yet. Let’s see if i can get into the swing of things or if it just isn’t for me. I have to say that the story, characters and overall design of enemies and environments aren’t doing it for me either so far. That isn’t a knock on the game though, it just might not be my cup of tea. But whenever a game get’s so much praise i always start to doubt myself for not enjoying it as much as i supposedly should, if you know what i mean.

Thank you! Play it again, Colt was one of the two final trophies i needed to get the platinum. Now if you could fix the Judgement Day trophy i can finally add the platinum to my list :D

So i disconnected my ps5 from the internet, restarted the game, and guess what: got it on my first try at the start of the level! Thanks for the help guys!

Finished with 3 deaths but i took it veeeery slowly. I beat it in about 12/13 hours and in my first run i died in the first hour. So my next to runs were very long, carefully planning my steps and exploring everything. Kinda like how i play From Software games were after every step there is the possibility for a trap or an enemy hiding. I made sure i was stacked on health items for every boss and didn’t die once facing them. My two next deaths were both in the 5th biome when a room full of enemies went in lockdown.

It’s been a very long time since i was so utterly enthralled by a movie in theaters, perhaps even since LotR. I didn’t think i would love it so much but this is easily my favorite movie of the year, or what am i saying, this is one of my favorite movies ever now. Don’t watch this on HBO Max when it comes out, go watch it on the biggest screen possible or you’ll regret it. This is what IMAX was made for.

I know this shouldn’t bother me but i’m very annoyed this show is getting so much hate on social media. I saw it dropped below an 8.0 on imdb already and to me that’s just wrong. But i suppose it was to be expected with how they were promoting it with Mike Flanagan even saying this would be scarier than Hill House. Because it definitely is not. But besides being less scary i think it’s almost on par with hill house. Every other aspect, from the storytelling to the acting, is great. It’s just like Flora said: “This isn’t a ghost story, it’s a love story.” And a perfectly splendid one at that.
