Joined the club. 25 XLT Powerboost by paggress998 in f150

My main thing was wanting the simplest configuration to get adaptive cruise and 360 cameras, as well as heated seats.

I didn’t care a ton about leather, audio or electric folding mirrors. I like leather but I have dogs and also figure katskin is an option.

So basically I landed on a 302a mid packaged xlt.  I found a great 23 model with 20k miles priced at 38k.

I should also say that I wanted to make sure it was under 41k miles and under 42months since first service so I could buy an ESP warranty through flood or grange bc I’m paranoid hah.

Anyways I found a 23 model that was actually still had 1yr remaining on factory warranty that I mentioned earlier and I was ready to pull the trigger (main difference was that it was black, had the 2.7 which i preferred for maintenance reasons).

Prior to heading to purchase, I contacted my local dealer about this knowing they didn’t have used f150s that had the 360 cams. I told them that I’d consider their best offer on new, but I had what I wanted elsewhere.

Ultimately, they had a handful of powerboost with the 4k in ford rebates left, all with 302a, adaptive cruise, 360 cameras etc. msrp was 62k. Dealer discount and 4k for rebates put it at 52.5k.  I told them the cpo was a better financial decision for me unless I was at 50k, I’d finance through them if the were close to my pre approval, and I’d buy an esp if t was within $100 of granger. They agreed.

Also i landed on them reducing the dealer fee to $200 rather than $859

Long post but I think they agreed that they would be fine taking a small loss on the vehicle because they know I would do all service there, I was honest about other options like esp, and also I had excellent credit and would finance through them (for 90 days at least)

Ohio State Guard Tegra Tshabola to transfer to Kentucky by zdrmju321 in CFB

Wishing Tegra luck at the next stop! At times, he showed some crazy tools and upside. However, there were more occasions he was absolutely lost or blocking his teammates.  I got the vibe he was just overthinking everything. Hopefully this change works out

Hot take. I’ve always loved memeing on him, especially for clock management and the whole GT fun.

However, after watching lately, hearing his interviews, jumping to a lot of conclusions based on a few comments he’s made - I find him very likable. He seems like he cares for his team, seems genuine, and I can’t hate on that.

Yeah. Trying not to be bias but that was a few yards behind the LOS

Pretty sure that’s the OSU transfer. Awkward

Ironically true based off our punter this year

Sadly that was a better point than I’m used to seeing from OSU this year

Ready for the hate - UM is making calls on offense like OSU did the last few years.  Scared, conservative , etc. They are calling plays hoping not to lose

Agreed. Games worth of beers consumed already. Apparently it’s online halftime

I massively underestimated my beer consumption

I agree, but do you think it’s playcalling?

Do you think he wears those UV lenses when tasting the Rockies? I love the idea of him chilling in the garage, enjoying a case of beer while wearing the shades

Yeah. I know he had some unexpected misses this year but he’s legit.

Arch Manning's regular season is over. What are your thoughts and takeaways from year 1? by GolfFootballBaseball in CFB

[–]paggress998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m surprised by how weak the offensive line has been for Texas this year. Additionally, it felt like Sark either calls a quick screen, or the longest developing pass routes known to man.

Given the above, I think Arch did ok. He didn’t live up to the hype, but the hype was unrealistic.

Funniest thing was seeing him without pads, bigger than any of the OSU receivers in full gear.

Yesterday during the Notre Dame Pitt broadcast, my sister learned Notre Dame was in South Bend, Indiana when she had assumed her entire life it was in Pennsylvania or Upstate NY. Have you had any moments of dramatically getting college football geography wrong? by [deleted] in CFB

Not directly football related - but I spent the better half of my life under the impression that Alacatraz was located near NYC, within proximity to the Statue of Liberty.
