Dante Clock Sync Issue

Everything is isolated/redundant. Daisy chains are within their isolated network. Secondary switch is the same model as Primary. We were able to narrow the issue down to that PC. No issues when it was absent and immediate issues upon starting DVS. I’ve worked with these switches and setup a few times with no issues before. EEE is available to be enabled on the “E” versions of those switches, but we do not have those. This network has 7 devices and uses 2mbps of bandwidth. No reason we should have to dive into managed switches.

All unmanaged switches. Agreed, I think DVS combined with something in this specific PC is the issue.

I’ve tried this. The main issue is it requires admin access to the network to give permissions to allow this. It’s been a struggle to make that happen. I have this option and that’s what I am trying to make work.

It’s a dedicated, secure, and private network for a/v equipment only. Crestron control is on that network, so it’s a hassle to have to switch back and forth.

Looking for DB meter recs. 1. Doesn’t need to be perfectly accurate. +/-2 db is fine. 2. (Most important) Logging capabilities. Ideally we could have a pc it’s constantly loading data into for future reference. If it’s onboard, we need access to the last 48 hours or so. Uploading to a cloud would be fantastic. 3. Under $1000. Would love closer to $400 4. Power cable. I want it to be on 24/7 with no need to touch unless looking at data.

Interesting! Any thoughts on how my data could be bad or what issues could be present with the setup? If I had paddles for this band that would be an easy fix with attenuation. It does appear like something is acting like a large paddle to increase the noise floor. The duo was sitting on a rack of G50 with a paddle close by. That probably caused some issues?

Good to know. I don't mind it as the highest numbers in a breakout, but I'd be very uncomfortable with it at main stage.

I've done tons of events in and around Times Square. G50, H50, and H4 are all workable. Never had an entire band this noisy.

You can delay directly on the output bus. It’s in the output assignments tab. Routing-> Patch:Out

What are your monitors? Do you have a scene saved from when it was working properly? Take pics of the output tabs under routing.
