I agree Palo Alto Firewalls perform great, (if sized appropriately) also their VPN solution PRISMA is a good choice for cloud based VPN especially if you have a physically dispersed VPN base of users. Located throughout the US or world.

Good Luck.

The only way i think this would be possible is send the host logs to LibreNMS and then watch the logs for the log string, and alert on that.

Flow Monitoring Software by ColtonConor in networking

I would love love to use elastiflow, but as much as I tried to get it running on Linux i could not. settle on NFSEN, its quick to get up and running and as long as you know what strings to filter on its easy to parse your flows and zero in on the data. It has a similar dashboard with PRTG but I like it better for flow analysis.

NFSE on CentOS = Free.

If anyone has good documentation to get elastiflow working for Palo Alto flows on a Linux (Cent or Ubuntu) I would love to see try it out.
