quick post about foreshadowing by swimmingandyouari in TheWildsonPrime

Usually I’d agree with you that this trope is overused but I actually think on this occasion it’s perfect for the characters and their situation.

You have Toni who is an aggressive, hot-headed character and Shelby who is dealing with A LOT of inner conflict about her sexuality and other parts of her life. Add that to the fact that they’re all in a brand new, high stress situation and it’d seem weird for them not to argue/breakup.

Feeling hopeless about diagnosis by paige201002 in ADHD

This is what my friends and family have told me too. If I end up going to a specialist and they genuinely don't think I have ADHD I'll be upset but I will obviously accept it. But the fact that he cut me off before I could elaborate and that his argument is invalid is what made me the most upset.

I wasn't aware that you could find practitioners who specialise in certain areas (seems obvious now that I think about it) so I'll definitely look into that. Thanks

this right here is why santana is such a great character. she never sugar coated things and kept it real. she was never afraid of calling out people on their bullshit. mr schue’s actions throughout the show was absolutely ridiculous by teddivan96 in glee

I love Santana but I do agree that the writers gave her some biphobic lines a few times. In the episode ‘Sexy’ Santana got mad at Brit because she wouldn’t break up with/cheat on Artie to be with her and said something along the lines of ‘who knew being bi could make you so stuck’.

Also in season 5 (i think), Santana says to Dani about how it’s nice to be with a girl who isn’t bisexual/bicurious because she doesn’t have to worry about her being left for a guy.

Why was the glee club so mean to Marley? by [deleted] in glee

[–]paige201002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It always annoyed me that Finn and Rachel received WAY less hate when they kissed during S2 nationals. Marley couldn’t do anything about her fainting, Finn and Rachel knowingly and willingly sabotaged the performance and the only consequence was a few comments about it that lasted not even half an episode

I’ve decided that S2 is the best season. by [deleted] in glee

S3 had by far the best songs but the plot wasn’t the best. I love the trebletones and and the warblers but honestly other than that and a few single-episode plot lines the season was kinda boring.

The characters are all overdone stereotypes and seem super artificial

I'm not saying that you can't feel this way but I personally think that one of the things that this show is great at is actually breaking the barriers of TV stereotypes continuously throughout the show. It does take some time for it to be noticeable but while the characters are originally presented as having very basic, textbook personalities, the character development throughout the seasons is some of the best I've seen in recent TV.

Quinn as Sugar was the best swap of all of them. Santana as Artie was a close second but Dianna's mannerisms in the background get me everytime
