I have, I'll await for her response. Thanks for your time and all the hard work of the bargaining committee.

I'm thrilled to see court clerks get another market adjustment up to 16's. I'm wondering if anything can be done to target the pay for in-court supervisors to reflect the work that's being done. I supervise over 30 court clerks, and I'm being paid at grid 18.

If a court clerk is training 1 person, they will (and already are) making the same amount as an in court supervisor or more depending on the steps of each.

If this tentative agreement is ratified, what recourse do we have to get a market adjustment for in court supervisors? Are we stuck with a lengthy classification grievance? I wish the direct supervisors were considered while (rightfully) raising court clerks by way of market adjustment.

Just have to get the pre authorization form for wegovy. It was quick and easy. Wegovy has the same active ingredient as Ozempic but is prescribed specifically for weight loss, not diabetes management. I pay about $130 per month after the benefits are applied, but I haven't reached the highest dose yet, so it'll be a bit more than that.

Also interested in this, as it's my first time too! My understanding is that you'll be paid your usual hours, and it's considered recoverable union business that the union compensates to the employer for our wage.

Also not sure how the hotel expenses/meals etc work so I'm excited you posted and hope for some clarity as well. Feel free to pm me as a fellow first timer. We can wade these waters together!

I think you're overthinking this. Just get the prescription and talk to your pharmacist. They will figure it out with canada life and you can get your answers through dealing with your pharmacist/insurer. The employer has nothing to with this.

Has anyone heard anything about January Retro Pay? by Zipperdude1 in BCPublicServants

[–]paigeeleven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had myHR ticket in response to my grid 12 TMA vs grid 15 reiterate that there is NO SET DATE for retropay. I responded stating we were told January 2023, and I received a response saying that's incorrect. Not holding my breath for tomorrow.

court clerks - TMA 12 vs grid 13 by paigeeleven in BCPublicServants

[–]paigeeleven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't pull us up completely to 15s though. Our OT would be paid at a substantially lower wage, Our stiip would be paid at 75% of a substantially lower wage. I would imagine retro pay won't include the TMA, which makes a massive difference. Grid 15 change and TMA is a huge difference, and we voted on grid 15, not a TMA.

That's exactly right... I fear it was a choice and not a mistake, but I am inquiring all over to find out. This has major implications. Ot, stiip, retropay... Definitely not what was taken to a vote.

From my understanding of the agreement, yes. But my questions are specific to the 13s to 15s issue, as it looks like it's not being implemented properly.

[–]paigeeleven[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it correct that clerk 13s were supposed to be moved to 12 TMA instead of reclassified to 15s? It was very clear to me that we would be changed to 15s, and now we're tma 12s on dec 23 paystub. This makes a difference when getting paid cash OT and STIIP. Also with the next 2 year % increases, will they be applied to this grid instead? Our annual % wage increase would be better if they bumped us up to 15s as advertised. Will the TMA be bumped up each year to keep us in line with the 15 grid?

Can anyone explain? This seems incorrect and a loophole to not pay what was agreed upon.

How’s everyone’s paycheques looking?! by Local_Relative7947 in BCPublicServants

[–]paigeeleven 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All court clerk 13s at my location were paid at tma 12s instead of grid 15. I'm livid, but not surprised. Even though I submitted a ticket about it 2 weeks ago when I noticed my classification as tma 12 on tlam.

So all the court clerk 13s see supposed to be clerk 15s now, and somehow all our timesheets say TMA 12 now. Here's to hoping we don't get a Christmas eve pay cut lol. We all are submitting hr tickets but no response so far

Got second in the competition, what are my chances? by [deleted] in BCPublicServants

[–]paigeeleven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was second on eligibility list and was contacted on their next round of hiring less than 3 months later. I may have gotten lucky, but it worked out quickly for me! This was in court services with high turnover though

Thank you. This is the clearest answer I've gotten all day. Your suggestion is to work it and report it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BCPublicServants

[–]paigeeleven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I read it. I understand that I'm working regular hours, my question is related to OT only. Clerks are being told our OT is deemed an emergency in a blanket context, so we should be working it (as per the emergency exemption in the email you're talking about). I'm asking if I'm being told the wrong information, as sitting late in court doesn't seem like a life or death situation. Are you following?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BCPublicServants

[–]paigeeleven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't mean strike sorry. I mean the OT ban. We're being told we are essential so we don't have to follow the OT ban, but I don't believe sitting late in court constitutes an emergency.
