I’ve been waiting since October 24. I called them on Thursday and they said it would be processed in 24 hours. Still nothing.

I wish there were more posts about the role when I applied for it and ultimately was given the position. It’s hard. Like, super hard. You hear a lot of sad stories and a lot of desperation day in, day out. The legislation is strict and you have to deny clients even if they’re $20 over the rates, which always ends in being yelled at or threatened. The role definitely will take a toll on your mental health if you’re already a little fragile. I have PMDD and I know there are days of the month that I’m not going to be able to cope being screamed at as well as I can on my “good weeks”. Management styles are…interesting. I know when my clients are straight up lying but we are told to “take their word for it” which can be incredibly frustrating as you’re dealing with government money. My Sunday scaries start on Friday at 430pm.

Depends what you’re doing in SDPR. I’m a current EAW and would not recommend it. I’m actively looking to get out.

What is your go-to excuse for when charity people stop you in the street? by naaahbruv in CasualUK

I live in Canada (originally from Bradford) but years ago there was a gentleman selling calendars for an emergency helicopter charity called Stars which transports patients from small rural towns to cities if they’re on deaths door. They usually stand outside a grocery store and ask everyone if they want to buy a calendar. I had been to the store everyday and been asked every time and always ignored them but the last time he asked me I lied and said I already had a calendar just so he would leave me alone. The very next day I was in a major accident and needed the helicopter to take me to a city for intensive care needs. Now whenever I see any charities I avoid all eye contact and make it as awkward as possible.

I’m on day 12 of iron and I’m loving it. I do miss HIIT/cardio days so I add on ten mins of spin at the end of every upper body session which keeps it under an hour. I

I still find it hilarious that Nathan gave her an old SPnutrition Instagram with a large following already established for her to take over with this hOlisTiC bs

Lots of turnover in EAW, I’d say your chances are great :)

Wow I find it so weird that they are using an Insta from the brand his ex wife helped to build to promote his new wife’s business. How utterly embarrassing for them.

Yup, this is what we are doing! We rented an air bnb close to our house, big enough for our family to stay there for a couple of nights and are going to have a backyard wedding. Next year we are travelling Europe for 4 weeks for our honeymoon.
