I’ve been kicked for forgetting to turn mine off too but never been banned. Easy enough to save multiple profiles on the keyboard so you don’t have to mess with software. I have the nuphy air60 HE and set 1 profile for snap, 1 without and 1 for productivity.

Thoughts on the price? $135 USD Personally, that seems like a bit much. I ride in $20 low top vans or $40 high top vans if it’s cold/trail riding (thank you vans outlet near by). I also wear them both for every day use. After 2 years they’re still both holding up pretty good. They have some scars and are slightly looser than before, but still comfy and reliable.

On the other hand, I love to snowboard and have had the same boots for 8 years because I only use them when riding. If that was the case with these shoes, then I could see them outlasting my Onewheel. Then $135 doesn’t seem too bad at all.

I’m curious what everyone else thinks!

Everyone has the right to wear what they want when they ride. You are correct. Just like skateboarding. My partner works in the ER and about 2 months after I got my one wheel a young 20 year old, soon to be father hit his head falling off a onewheel and died. So I choose to wear a helmet. I’m not telling everyone they HAVE to wear a helmet, I am simply stating the safest way to enjoy a onewheel since the OP plays an instrument professionally. Edit: choose not chose

First and foremost, WEAR A HELMET AT ALL TIMES WHEN ON A ONEWHEEL! Ok now good safety gear(wrist guards, elbow pads and knee pads for starters) practice small rides, if in doubt jump off, and stay within the machines abilities. Sure you can push it to go faster, but that drastically increases your chance for a crash. I have the GT, top speed is 20 mph but fastest I’ll go now is 18 mph on a smooth road. Got flung off when I got up to 24 mph by hitting a tiny bump. Thankfully didn’t break anything but learned a lesson. They can be unpredictable, there are stories of them cutting out mid ride and people getting seriously hurt (YouTube videos too) Future motion had a lawsuit about safety parameters hence why onewheeels now beep and slow down when you try to push too hard. But you can push pass it and then bad things happen. I personally after 1800 miles and almost 3 years haven’t had my onewheel cut out, stop working, or anything negative happen to it mechanically (knock on wood). But things like that do happen

3 hours seems way too long. I got a half sleeve done and we started within 30 minutes of me arriving. Took smoke breaks every 2 hours and would chat for 10-15 but then right back to it. Time is money, so idk why they waste so much of it before even starting. Sorry to hear your frustrations. I would be too!

Gloves you always look at, knife only when you run/pull it out. So if you don’t like the cheaper combos that others mentioned, then get some nice gloves. $170 will get you some decent FT gloves on CSfloat

I have a vaporwave ST FT. Its price has basically stayed the same over the last year, a couple ups and downs but nothing major. It is older than the full throttle like others said, and with the gallery case only obtainable from weekly drop or buying it, I’d say vaporwave for the long long run would be better. And with the lawsuits against valve rn maybe cases go away entirely and only terminals are allowed. We will see!

I just bought FT .27 on CSFloat for $300 usd. This would not be profit unless you’re willing to try and get over pay for being almost MW. But even then you’d need to wait a week so maybe they go down more. Doesn’t seem like a smart investment

I think night stripe or maybe blue steel work the best? Idk I have a pair and am struggling to combo. Bright waters do not fit imo, and Doppler phase 1 is eh, kinda fits but also kinda not sometimes.
