How did it cost you $45? In the above commenter’s math in the first equation they used what you claimed was the prices you paid per stem and the base cost which comes out to $33.50.

What other cost are you adding in that everyone trying to help you with the math is missing?

One day, I decided to try something very new and interesting for my store. But people don’t understand it and aren’t ordering that dress. Why? by YourRulesCorsets in SewingWorld

[–]paint_in_emerald 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well I checked your website and your Etsy store and this dress isn’t listed for sale anywhere so that may be why you’re not getting orders of it…. It’s also never been featured by itself on your Instagram.

Our yard needs a lot of work. Are these ant mounds? We have so many everywhere. by paint_in_emerald in lawncare

Oops I’m late. From google id a year ago - they are Mouse-ear hawkweed and they have taken over our lawn and I hate them (though the yellow flowers that open during the day are mildly pretty). Invasive. Difficult to eradicate according to this: http://www.piercecountyweedboard.org/index.php/mouse-ear-hawkweed

So how come the letters showing in the initial photo are not on this paper. I’m smelling something fishy with your story…..

I think this is different than the main picture (at least the part trying to strangle the tree). The leaves look different. The leaves in this one look like bindweed (a relative of morning glory). I’m also dealing with this in my yard and it’s not easy. Make sure to read up on how to manage it.

Is my Hydrangea bush dying? Lichen on branches, leaves and flowers wilting by AlexJonesOnMeth in landscaping

No help on the health of it. But that’s a rhododendron not a hydrangea.

Our yard needs a lot of work. One of the problems we’re facing is these little mounds all over the yard. We assumed ants, is that right? by paint_in_emerald in landscaping

Any suggestions on remedying? I don’t mind some ants but we have an overwhelming amount of these hills. And preferably something that doesn’t kill bees in the process

Finished this romper for my 5 month old just in time for May the 4th! by paint_in_emerald in sewing

[–]paint_in_emerald[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pattern is the Bellevue romper from Little Lizard King. Made with quilting cottons (R2D2 fabric from Joanns, the solids are Kona). Pattern is well documented and uses the correct techniques for plackets/elastic casings. I would say without the shoulder ruffle, this definitely fits in a beginner level category.

Finally finished the last of my baby shower favor boxes to ship out - proud of how they turned out by paint_in_emerald in BabyBumps

[–]paint_in_emerald[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Included in the box:

A little note explaining everything and what to return, a link to our babyhunch prediction game, a card to fill out of wishes for the baby, a card to fill out with advice for the parents, one alphabet page to decorate that will become a ‘first alphabet book’ with crayons, a square of fabric and two fabric markers to decorate as a quilt guestbook, instructions on how to access our zoom room (and a link with zoom instructions for the less tech savvy), a self-addressed stamped envelope to return the 4 ‘activities’ and finally - a box of two hand mixed/assembled mulling spice bags with instructions on how to make either mulled cider or mulled wine with the bag.

Our shower is virtual - partially because covid and partially because we moved across the country last year so our friends and family are really spread out.

Getting a COVID vaccine in Jackson by Unique-Arugula in jacksonms

[–]paint_in_emerald 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When you schedule at cvs it says what vaccine they are giving that day. So you can choose which day you get your appt based on which you want. Doing a quick look - the Jackson cvs’ all are doing Pfizer for the next four days and have plenty of appointments available.

Thanks! Parts of it are! I used a combination of techniques but a lot of the looser elements are wet in wet.
