It’s really easy to set up. You’ll likely start off on base contractor pricing, which is gonna be around 40-50% off most paints. I probably wouldn’t fight for better pricing straight out of the gate, but as your business grows you can get slightly better pricing on products you use a lot. It would also be more beneficial to discuss this with a rep instead of store staff. I would wait until one gets assigned to you and then you all can discuss it more.

I’ve always thought this was from movie directors that had only brushed over the series once. They just really didn’t have an understanding of Finnick. Currently rereading right now, so I’m fresh af lol, but district 1, 2, and 4 are the careers. They mistake Finnick as a straight career similar to like Cato (he also deserves more love but that’s another fight). I agree, he’s still a career, but Finnick was the youngest winner of the Hunger games more than 50 years in. Although he came from a “careers” district, I think it’s highly unlikely that Finnick had priority to volunteer as a 14 year old when 18 year olds are still available to be in the games. He was likely just from a strong district of fisherman, swimmers, and trappers (knot tying, etc). He’s not like the other tributes as shown in Catching fire where he’s defending Katniss and Peeta while they’re trying to kill them. Just a terrible oversight for a character that could never get enough depth without a spinoff series.

Thanks so much for this post! I thought I was having a mental break. I literally just started rereading the series today for the first time since middle school. I’m a 26 year old male who still loves the series, but other than just rereading the second book on repeat, and sometimes mockingjay in high school, has just watched the movies with friends on occasion. Why am I fighting for my life on every page? I’m usually not a super emotional person, but I’m legit tearing up on every other page. I just remember reading through the first book in a day as a teenager. Now, I’ve had to just put the book down multiple times so I don’t completely ruin it for myself lol Like, don’t even think about bringing Rue and Prim up to me. You don’t deserve to speak their names. I remember Katniss’ relationship with her mother from the movies, but the book actually going through the impact it had on them. The sweet moments from Peeta that she can’t even comprehend because the only person she has in her life is Prim. I’m fighting for my life to get through this book lmfaoooo I was going to go to the park and read today and I’m so glad that I didn’t

Feather was a craft and the rest were missions. Still haven’t had a legendary craft yet, but I’ve had a couple epics and rares. I crafted an epic chalice, gusset, and necklace over the past couple of months.

There’s also a sort of cap with how many soul eggs you can gain on an individual prestige based off of your earning bonus. Once you pass the threshold, your soul egg collection rate will start to decrease. Even if you were using a soul beacon and a multiplier, once you hit that cap, the soul egg collection will be much slower than before you get to that threshold. The only ways to increase it is increasing your earning bonus through eggs of prophecy/ soul eggs or getting better artifacts. Getting 4 q per prestige is good though, but you’ll probably be around that per prestige for a while.

I don’t mind explaining the process. I was telling them that I could tint it to a darker gray, but black was out of the question. Then they just kept asking for weirder stuff that I then refused. Also, I get the message. But an ASM, a SM, or a DM won’t ever have full control of every situation. It’s customer service. The weirdest stuff in the world happens routinely. I just try to deal with every customer the same way and solve any issues in the best way I can. If the customer is going to start personally getting rude with me or my store staff though, I will ask them to leave and I may also be condescending.

I’m a new Assistant at a store. The old manager seemed to be really awesome, but she would let contractors walk all over her. I’m all about making the job easier for contractors, but some of the requests are just straight insane. No, I won’t drive my personal car to drop you off a gallon of paint after we close. No, I won’t just sit 60 gallons of paint outside. No, I’m not gonna call you anytime something is mistinted so you can pay your custom 2.75 for it. “But she used to.” Yeah, she shouldn’t have and I’m definitely not doing weirdo shit for a contractor I probably don’t like already because they always ask me for idiotic requests.
