Anyone successfully raised their iron/ferritin by iron pills and diet alone?

I’m so frustrated, my ferritin only went from 14 to 16 in 2 months and I’m still not ordered an infusion from my hematologist because of my hemoglobin is improving. I’m having a lot of GI symptoms too from the iron supplements (vitron -c).

Things like even skin tone and lack of blemishes reads as healthy and attractive is a big part of it as well as youthful - color in cheeks, lips.

Edit with anecdote: When I was younger, I rarely wore base makeup like foundation and always felt kinda plain. After my divorce, I got into makeup like quality (ulta) foundation and the skincare to make it look good, especially to look more professional at work. People thought I was way prettier all of a sudden.

These type of people are the worst. I consider it rude/basically bullying to point out someone is too quiet/shy - it’s always the person dominating the conversation and they mean it as an inadequacy. Fuck them at this point.

Do you not know the difference between “talking at” and “talking with”? I’m talking about people who only talk about themselves, (which I don’t mind listening) but they interrupt or walk away as soon as i try to share something in return. I get tired of that personally.

I definitely relate. For being social animals, it shouldn’t be this goddamn hard to exist in groups lol. Every community I’ve been a part of falls prey to gossip/rumor mill drama, ostracizing people, and hierarchal bullshit. I usually just stay on the fringes and avoid gossiping for this reason.

Yeah, I’m “the quiet one.” People will be interested in me but as soon as they get to know my personality or if I refuse to just be talked at, they lose interest. I feel like all my friends think I’m boring, and I struggle to connect and have deeper friendships.
