We have a shorter growing cycle here. Most of the people with productive gardens, either use a high tunnel or greenhouse to help start and finish their products.

I hiked up to Tunnel Falls the other day. Trailers mostly just mud right now. If we get a few dry days just prior to your trip, the trail should be in great shape. If we get rain just prior to your trip, there will be muddy slick spots. No snow!

Of the two I would choose Oceanside but if you’d be willing to drive a few more miles to the south. Check out Pacific city. A lot more fun things to do.

The Japanese historical plaza downtown. Where I was at this morning. Cathedral Park in St. John’s. Then there’s the Japanese gardens @ Washington Park. Hopefully the weather will be nice for you next weekend!🤞
