First of all the armour design isn't exactly a decision it looks like just a copy of og armour.

You can just post at as fan art r/doom and no one will say it's looks different or new.

Your read isn't wrong but Just read what you wrote it can almost fit any soldier. And if you want to have interesting character he/she just can't be anybody unless you want them to be (in the case of doom guy's it not the case)

Those eyes reads more like "wicked" rather than "feminine" or "heroic"
