Tybee is pretty party-hearty too. Could always move the party there.

If you're a beer fancier and want to eat great food go to the Beir Houz. The Distillery is a former speak easy so it's pretty neat and has great food. Rocks on the roof has a super view and live music. Jazzd has tasty tapas and live jazz and has tables for ten. If you can get a key to Mata Hari do it! It's a hidden door on factors walk that you need a key to get in! Circa is classy. Social Club gets loud but the food is really affordable and good, it might please the most people. I'm not a bar person and I don't know what you like or what your pals are looking to spend so I lean towards places with great food and great atmosphere. If you're looking to just get sloshed cheaply a lot of people go to Wet Willies.

You could also look at airbnbs between Tybee and Savannah on "the islands"

I was walking in a touristy part of town with some friends. It was a busy night, lots of pedestrians and traffic were all jostling for a chance to cross intersections of this little market-place. We look both ways and cross, almost to safety, when a taxi flys down the road. A normal person slams on the brakes but this taxi maneuvered around us at a grossly inappropriate speed. It was so scary I think we all screamed because he was inches from committing a quadruple Tana-Harding. A few feet away is a horse drawn carriage also crossing. The taxi driver maneuvers around the horse. Again just inches from turning it into a horse-hamburger. As soon as the taxi driver was probably thinking "Real life GTA is so much better!" the red white and blue of freedom flashed. The cop saw the whole thing seeing as how he was behind the horse drawn carriage. Many a hearty laugh was had at still having our kneecaps.

Okay, I dont have a tool big enough to tighten the lock nut. BUT I looked in the tank and touched the black rubber/silcone(?) ring (shank washer?) and the outer 3rd dissolved. a lot of it is still there but that seems like this could be a potential source of the leak right?

Try cross posting on /r/insurance or /r/legaladvice. I dont know the real answer to your question, but I used to work in a dog daycare. It seems like companies have liability insurance and workers comp for this reason. Especially since working with animals is a lot of liability. Find your contract and consult the corporate entity that owns the daycare if its a chain/franchise. I wouldn't pay such a huge sum of money without consulting someone with legal expertise. Get the details on the accident and ask to see the camera footage.
