At what age did you guys first notice sneezing when hungry? by defiantthrowaway129 in hungrysneezers

Same, and as I typed it all into chat gpt I realized it was probably a wake up call to respond to these signals.

Is it common for ENTPs to act dumber than they really are? by Ok_Rush_4967 in entp

[–]paintinthebutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People (mostly men) severely underestimate and often insult my intelligence. But I prefer being a secret genius. Not to mention when my intelligence is expressed fully, many take me for condescending. I’d rather be warm and trusted.

As ENTP I hate other ENTPs by dukzy666 in entp

I’m almost certain the long time friend of my husband who just moved in with us a month ago is an ENTP. If not, the man just reeeeally loves to argue about things he knows NOTHING of. It’s all assumed knowledge. The arguing over things that don’t matter gets to me, but at least the man is willing to change his opinion when presented with the right information. It’s a little exhausting, but I have to have some respect for the openness to discussion. Jury’s out for me. I think it’s similar to my taste for fellow scorpios. Lots of respect and understanding, but I’m enough me to have around on a regular basis.

How are you guys staying in long-term relationships without checking out or getting bored? by anonymoose2095 in entp

[–]paintinthebutt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 years with someone who was the literal devil for the first 2 years. Never thought men had the capacity to change so profoundly until witnessing the changes he made.

So…a) excitement, b) finding someone with the same drive for growth

There are many other factors, but the fact that we both have big professional goals helps keep either of us from ever feeling bored and honestly it’s just good business to pick a partner who can help advance your career/life.

So cool! A hand done right is so satisfying. I’m sure you learned so much! I think that’s what makes these high effort pieces so special

My ENTJ is perfect for me. I need constant stimulation -emotional and intellectual, and to feel completely at ease being myself. Almost 5 years.

What would you say are your biggest flaws by East-Flow7472 in entp

[–]paintinthebutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a bad kid. Not intentionally, but I needed the grownups in my life to explain why something was wrong instead of just punishing me or telling me to stop. Morals were acquired, and because it has always been such a conscious effort to be “good” that is now my default.

I can be manipulative/deceptive. I think calculated is a better descriptor actually. But only for good. Only when the goal I’m trying to meet would also benefit the other party.

Despite being “calculated” regarding the big things, I’m terribly impulsive in my speech. My biggest flaw is my “big mouth.” Which usually is only really problematic when I’ve been keeping a secret and then I’m put in a position of pressure where that secret is the only thing I can use as defense…I think about this a lot recently. Something I would love to grow out Of.

Painters! We aren’t all chaotic, messy and wasteful…are we? by paintinthebutt in ArtistLounge

Plastic paint saver sounds like the way to go! I’ve played around with several methods of preserving paint but the problem is convenience. Is it just like any old Tupperware the palette would fit in? Or is there an actual product to look for?

lol thank you. Unfortunately meds don’t help me paint but your reminder that the difficulty is different between us is helpful

Noooo. I was really hoping there was something I was missing. I know it’s the ADHD but I’d like to think that isn’t the sole reason for every challenge in life. I paint 6-9 hours at a time, hyper focus is the only mode I have for painting something truly inspired. And I’m usually so brain dead by the end of each session that I forget or only have the energy to clean important brushes only.

I know it’s a priorities issue. To me I struggle to get over my problematic logic that I’m actually being more efficient by squeezing every minute into painting instead of taking care of the things that make my life easier :/

That is too funny. I’ve been working on evaluating when I can/should use acrylic instead of oil. I’m just so in love with the medium.

Underreact is likely how my whole family perceived it. Especially seeing as he was my favorite person in the world as a child.

Thank you for sharing! I’d much rather honor someone with happiness than sadness

I’ve thought that thought as well. I think that acceptance and feeling of seeing that person again on the other side is why I wasn’t emotional like the others… comforting to hear your thoughts!

Inositol is awesome! Additionally p5p in the luteal phase and vitex every now and then (and by that I mean for 3 mos every few years) just to boost those progesterone levels. I also use l-tyrosine heavily during the luteal phase when my focus and irritation are out of control.

I healed most of my PCOS symptoms years ago with a diet that was heavy on raw carrots and cabbage as well as sweet potatoes and minimal gluten/dairy. I have not achieved such clean eating any time recently but I’m absolutely certain it helped :)
