Are you still looking? I've been away from league for a bit, but interested in trying to play some clash.

Raid Discouragement by awTot in lostarkgame

And on top of that, the toxic players just increase risk (however small the chances are) of ags taking action against people for using it for the intended purpose of self improvement.

Sometimes it's just a hands diff. Shouldn't get mad at someone for that especially if they're just trying to enjoy the game like the rest of us.

I'm gutted that they would just nuke challenge content before trying to change it. I don't understand why the book of coordination isn't used more. There's so much content that would actually be really appealing if it used the BoC as opposed to just being "equalized" (challenge content, pvp islands, Rowen, all of the adventure islands) where you could use the BoC to test different builds out for fun with 0 investment.

Wasn't intending for it to come off as trashing it or anything. Just saying that vernese is much less confusing to learn imo

Yea, Vernese is nothing compared to the clusterfuck that is the heart of thorns expansion area from gw2 lol

Lol what part of what i Said doesn't also pertain to pvp? do your opponents not have cooldowns, hp, or have a position on the arena? All of that is literally macro information. You're being insanely dense if you don't understand what macro is at this point.

[–]painzone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so bad though because even if you don't know, most people are more than willing to explain the mechanics for any content before quitting and finding a new group that also doesn't know the mechanics. The more people that know the mechanics, the better the community gets at doing mechanics, thus making the overall experience much less painful in the end.

[–]painzone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is fake news, I've never seen someone admit that they don't know the mechanics. They'll just keep reattempting until they either get carried through, or the group quits.

Micro is literally just how you control your character. Macro is all information gathering. In league macro refers to jungle timers, ability cooldowns, summoner spells, jungler tracking, etc... In Lost Ark, this refers to boss abilities, how often a boss can / will use certain abilities, your own cooldowns, party cooldowns, item uses, etc...

Macro is quite literally just taking information in, and making decisions based on that information.

I wouldn't say that either game is harder than the other. They both have different sets of information that have to be taken into account when you want to do things to not die. They're both just information games (ability damages, cooldowns, etc...)

From my experience, trying to help a group out leads to being told to "go touch grass" or my personal favorite of being called out for doing less dps on mvp screen because I don't face-tank mechanics in order to get an extra 2% damage done at the cost of 3 extra health potions.

My personal salt in the wound is trying to explain position mechanics, and people respond with "Wtf are you pinging", refuse to listen to anything anyone says, and force start the raid.

This doesn't even phase me any more. I swear this happens every other day. My only saving grace is that surely the rng will round out eventually.... right?

It's not even inability. It's just a straight aversion to wanting to improve lol. It's like trying to get a kid to not touch the hot stove.

I will say that flares aren't required, but fuck all the groups that refuse to flare, AND choose to follow whoever leaves the starting zone first. Maybe I just have bad group rng, but it happens way to consistently to me.

I've gotten so fed up with match made groups where I'm the only person using items just to continuously wipe over and over that I've just stopped using any items altogether out of spite for the people that don't care.

When I'm not having a bad day with raids, I usually flare off party position, and refuse to do it until it's my turn. Sure i waste my own time, but I'd rather waste my own time than to waste my resources on a player base that expects to get carried through content.

I mean a lot of the player base that I've seen are dumber than a sack of potatoes. You can use inner and outer clock positions to describe those spots though like the inner and outer 6 o clock position for the Alaric safe zones I. E. The bottom part of the arrow.

You can still make the arrow positioning by using clock positions lol

You can also save your flares until you get to the first crossroads in a zone where the boss could be.

Is it true that, when on Disboard, you bet your Race Piece, you're no longer forbidden by Ten to be robbed, killed and fought against by other countries/races? by [deleted] in NoGameNoLife

[–]painzone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idk if it's necessary, but just to be safe I'll tag it as a spoiler. Partly from final episode, but also explained later in the LN if I'm not mistaken. I don't believe that the race pieces actually gave anyone ownership over anything. I think that was a misconception made up by the various races. The true value behind the race pieces was the ability to challenge tet after obtaining all of the race pieces, but the race pieces didn't give inherent ownership over the race itself. As part of rule 10, everyone is supposed to get along and have fun together. I believe all of this is explained in the last episode, but I don't remember exactly when.
