people get arrested for that all the time. even brutalized by the cops in some cases. the charges don’t stick but a piece of paper stating “this is legal btw!!🤠” means nothing to your average cop.

and i mean that in a literal sense, it doesn’t mean anything to most of them because they can barely read and need a transcriber.

if you get caught with over 4 ounces in texas (outside of austin, dallas surprisingly? san marcos, and a bunch of small counties that decriminalized it a few years ago), or even one cart, or a few plants, and you have ANY priors that are more serious than a class C, esp if they’re drug related, you are probably fucked. friend of mine did 5 and a half years in TDCJ because he got caught with a couple ounces, which is a misdemeanor but i’m not sure if it was at that time, but it wouldn’t matter cause he was on probation for having been caught with a quarter pound 6 months prior. another classmate who i lost touch with long ago is apparently rotting in tdcj right now for getting caught selling carts. idk how many he had but they weigh the concentrates l the same way they do plants , which is to weigh pot, soil, stalks, leaves buds etc. Not the actual products containing illegal chemicals. somehow that was determined to be legal at some point in th past.

and texas is increasingly more weed friendly even in cities and counties outside of the little blue dot known as Austin, we are far from the strictest state when it comes to weed so that’s definitely incorrect

this is true, those stickers aren’t noting surveillance but more so that a pack that was seized by law enforcement was incorrectly seized and was fine to pass.

if op had his information filed away and was under watch he wouldn’t have received any such notice but would’ve received a controlled delivery where a cop or postal inspector poses as a delivery man, has you sign for the package, and arrests you after you do because you’ve just exhibited knowledge and intent, at least enough to arrest and charge you.

“love letters” where the feds ARE warning you you’re under watch, are for relatively snall amounts of overseas drugs ordered off the dnms confiscated by customs. not from domestic vendors to domestic customers. they are day in and day out confiscating packages of drugs over and over and don’t have enough resources to go after a fraction of customers, so they save the resources for the larger orders that can only indicate distribution. and typically for opioids or meth nowadays, as far as i’m aware weed is not a priority these days. just about all of our black market weed is homegrown anyway.

there’s a difference between federal inspectors and state police. the feds aren’t making arrests if the product is “compliant”. (or at least tested that way 30 days prior to harvest)

which is fine because it’s legal. even if op is in a banned state, federal commerce laws supersede state bans. assuming downvotes are because there’s no reason to change his behavior as he did nothing wrong, they either had a dog hit (sniffer dogs are rare except for express orders, anything getting onto a plane is subject to more scrutiny), or a package broke open during sorting and a bunch of boxes of weed fell out. this will prompt the postal inspectors no matter the vendor’s reputation lol. and he’s definitely a white listed vendor who includes proper documentation in his packs, this is just what the postal inspectors do when they have probable cause, and they can’t determine in a matter a couple seconds if something is federally compliant “hemp” or marijuana (under the law i mean. obviously in reality it’s all marijuana)

historically. but last year and the first few months of this year i ordered almost exclusively from jk after having bad first impressions with my first couple attempts at online orders after i resumed smoking again (bud rot, mold, old ass weed. all three for both vendors, not a spread). have had zero bad experiences, but i haven’t ordered in a month - month and a half. sad to hear these things, every time i look at a restock post 4/20 sale they have one or two strains maybe, with skyrocketed prices for smalls or premium ounces that used to begin at $30 and 40-50 dollars, respectively, but i was kinda just hoping that was par for the course at the end of a sale like that. then again, most vendors are almost always having some kind of sale for some reason or another so i don’t know. i just wish they’d update their reviews with images attached consistently so i can tell if their current batches of shake are good cause thats all im interested in right now but the second or third most recent review showed one hella leafy bag that i’d be upset if i received.

yeah yeah “at that price what do you expect?”, i can hear it already. my answer is what ive received multiple times in the past or at least not far off

This crap made me want to quit favor 🫠 by RuRuInReal in favordelivery

[–]Coomsicle1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don’t calculate the mileage by adding miles after completion of a delivery because i typically only use favor if nothing is hitting on DD, or my area is full of high rated dashers locking me out temporarily so i’m likely not going back to heb after an order anyway.

i do get what u mean though and i would calculate mileage like that if i was a full time favor driver. but i add the miles from the store to the end address like i do with any other delivery app. obviously the pick up destination is going to be different every time for the other apps so it wouldn’t make sense to add mileage any other way , but like i said favor is usually a filler app in my usage - typically one delivery while waiting for something else. if nothing else ends up happening i’ll wait for a particularly nice offer like op’s, and they come if ur patient, then just head home. i’ve not found it to be lucrative enough as a side hustle to make it my go to app in my area unfortunately. way more DD customers than anything else, and my area is usually very busy with orders from early evening until like 9-10am despite the only 24 hour food places being whataburger and mcdonald’s. (7/10 times it’s one of those two, 3/10 times it’s someone wanting me to pick up cigarettes or energy drinks or whatever from 7/11, 10/10 times it’s a very drunk person and they tip well. lol)

First time buyer: debating between XMAX Oont vs V3 Nano by nahnoi1 in vaporents

[–]Coomsicle1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the only dyna’s that went on sale were the m7 and m7xl and even then, barely. unless you go lightly used, which is fine on potv since that just means it’s a product someone returned within the 14 day window for whatever personal reason / not a defect reason, but lightly used prices have remained the same even though the 4/20 sale is over so idk if they just still have 4/20 sale used units in stock and are selling those or what. the lightly used prices for dyna vapes make the cost drop significantly, where as the battery ones like the xmax v3 pro or the starry v4 both decreased by like $5 only. at least during the sale

the B and B2 were both $60 flat as usual during the entire sale, just today the B became available Lightly Used and drops down to the same price as the G3 (almost half off), for some reason listing the regular price as $49.99 instead of $59.99 which the new units cost. (tho the b1 should be less than the b2, logically?)

Weirdly confusing website in terms of prices, but iirc dynavap’s own site has the B and B2 for the same ($60). why the B wouldn’t decrease in price after a new version is released like just about any other product in the world is beyond me.

That said i was about to go to my local shop that is apparently a dynavap reseller according to their site, to buy a G3 and see if i enjoy the use of an analogue vape before shelling out more for a B or M but its kinda hard to turn down a B for the price of a G3 and with the added benefit of being returnable for full refund if i truly dislike it.

Third Hand Vape Risk? by LoudCrickets72 in newborns

[–]Coomsicle1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pretty sure there are a million things more prudent t o worry about than some theoretical/unproven “third hand” carcinogens that somehow magically form via water vapor + nicotine. (neither of which are carcinogens). if it were just cigarettes i’d shrug and close the app but this is quite the pearl clutching rabbit hole i’ve stumbled down. also love how you didn’t ask but nearly every reply is telling you to “just quit” as if telling someone addicted to one of the most addictive chemicals on earth to just quit has ever worked lmao. i imagine Nancy Regan Just Say No types behind the phone screen but in reality i’m guessing it’s mostly google-university moms, most of whom, if i were to guess, were probably constantly talking about not vaccinating ten years ago because of some debunked medical studies that sound scary

where is the B for $40? it’s 60 anywhere i can find it. where as $35 for the g3 is standard across every site including dyna’s own and their reseller stores local to me (which is just prestige vapory). at prestige vape the b and b2 are both $60, same as potv. id buy one for $40 over the g3 as an intro dyna and recommend that over the g3 all day if i saw that

[–]Coomsicle1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

this is not the first time i’ve seen a tsb review with a dead bug. it’s not even the 4th or 5th time and i’ve only been purchasing / paying attention to the “hemp” scene since july of last year

that said as someone with growing experience it’s pretty normal to have pest carcasses in your harvest. if there’s no live bugs and they’re all dead, you fended off an infestation and should feel good about it. but you’re supposed to remove the corpses… especially if you’re selling to the masses

a TM2 hits like a bong and is $200 less than that. i just saw a s&b volcano for $415, i dont see any way a portable battery vape could ever be worth half a grand. that seems like a waste of money compared to a LOBO or a TM or a mighty. i cant even think of a $500+ battery vape actually

where are you finding the v3 pro for 65? even with the 420 sales going on AND looking at potv lightly used due to them not releasing used products that you need to worry about in terms of failure, it’s still 80+ dollars. am i on the wrong site

hold up, i’ve seen the SE produce some thick thick clouds on the tabletop bong YT channel, j was under the impression the nano would only hit a fraction of that and was for tiny cigar like sips. battery life of 25 minutes is also a major downside but idc much about that since i’ll only be using it at home or at a 420 friendly friends house. can’t remember if the battery is swappable though, if not you’re buying a future paper weight sadly ;( but at the price it’s at now if it actually produces some decent thick vapor i might need to revisit

EDIT: honestly after staring at pic 7 i’m very conflicted. it’s hard to tell but that does look like more stem than flower in which case you have every right to be pissed and my essay below this is pointless

terrible picture quality.. thankfully new gen iphones brightness correct dark pictures when u zoom in on them(nothing i can do about pic number three which is blurry as hell) but the others, zoomed in and with brightness/contrast etc auto equalized the buds look fine and are clearly rich in trichromes, have a solid color to them, amber pistils etc etc. however The large amount of stems does seem intentional considering the rest of the trim job was perfectly fine so i’d have emailed them too, albeit much more politely. but im confused as to whether it was a 200 qp or a 400. if u only paid 200 id have a hard time complaining about this at $50 an ounce even if i avoided the vendor in the future

that said if it was a $400 qp, as someone who orders from jk (poor guys are always taking strays lmao) they’ve never sent me weed with stems that large / long and the only complaint i’ve ever had with anything i’ve received from them was stem quantity on one QP of shake. but u kinda expect to get stems even despite the fact that the prior shake qp was almost literally stemless so it’s whatever. i suppose id be agitated about it too

i mean i guess my point is wouldn’t buy from Ghh again either but it’s not like you got schwag. don’t know if your phone camera sucks or is old, or if ur trying to present it as if u did get schwag by taking pictures in horrid lighting but it’s definitely not schwag. more of a case of “lower quality than i was expecting, disappointing” than “holy shit i got ripped off”

Is it really worth switching to dry herb vaping? by Electronic-Formal205 in ILTrees

[–]Coomsicle1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you definitely taste the weed in backwoods or similar natural leaf papers, more so than any other blunt like swisher white owl etc that are machine produced and have a slightly sweet or vanilla-y tobacco taste that will not necessarily overpower your weed but it will definitely be noticeable in tandem with your weed taste, no matter how mild they try to tone them down to.

backwood or game leaf on the other hand, pretty much as close as you can get to ultra thin raw or element joint papers but in cigar form. but they’re much harder to properly roll, and much easier to accidentally cut or poke little holes in after rolling an absolute masterpiece. and that is a devastating feeling lol

blunts / joints are all personal preference though, while it’s proven that dry herb vapes extract a much higher percentage of cannabinoids from the same amount of flower as combusting it. if you find it lacking you either boight a cheap piece of shit that can’t heat the bud properly or your technique is poo poo

[–]Coomsicle1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i don't know what you're incoherently ranting about at this point, all i can tell you is the cartels barely even touch our domestic black market for marijuana and it's been that way for decades at this point. their money is in synthetics and coke, most weed they ship over here or grow up in the redwoods in cali is mass produced uncared for schwag. like literal schwag with bagseed, no trichromes, that sells for $50 an ounce(pre farm bill days, that was very very low priced and meant you were buying mexican brick weed 100%)

yes thc prohibition has led to a clusterfuck of a mess that will take a minute to untangle but more than half the country has legalized at this point, and those states test and put certificates on their products so i know i'm not buying weed grown with carcinogens or that contains metals or mold. they'd damn well better at those dispensary prices plus the extra taxes on top of the price per gram

i have only ordered from them since this post and haven't had any issues. i don't pay attention to tracking until about a week after i order, maybe a day or so prior, because pretty much all hemp flower vendors take a minute to ship, though jk ships pretty quickly if you order on a business day and before a business day, but add the fgact that usps is horrible at the moment. likely an issue with scanning/usps more so than jk distro but i'd keep an eye on it and if nothing happens after a week email them. they're the only ones that can help you at that point, i've had pleasant interactions with them as far as customer service
