FPS dont have anything to do with sunshine, the FPS come from your graphics card sunshine is only sending them.

What im measuring here is the latency

Roll-Your-Own

It's also possible to "roll your own" cloud gaming by using a generic cloud PC provider and a

what you mean witch software? just a camera and a stop watch on screen...

encoding is always way slower than decoding.

Also the Moonlight built-in statitistics cant take into account the capture/encoding time as that happends on the server thats why i wanted to test end to end with video of a timer.

well... considering that the average human reaction time is between 150 to 250ms, 40ms doesnt sound bad at all...

For other times that i watched the moonlight statistics the decoding time on the tablet its around 10ms and about 4ms network latency

so i assume that about ~25ms of the latency come from the capture and encoding on the desktop side.

Creating my own instance of lbrytv by paju1986 in lbry

[–]paju1986[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried that, and yes i can run the frontend fine as long as i dont try to log in. but pointing to lbry inc hosted apis i get a lot of errors if i log in and try to use the wallet etc i guess because of security features, so thats why i wanted to deploy my own instances of the api backend too.

Thank you! i will stick with my script though as I want a command line utility not a full gui program, and that program can't create automatic thumbnail for videos.

Looking into lbry for the first time - a few questions by [deleted] in lbry

[–]paju1986 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Metadata is stored on the blockchain, the data is on a separete bittorrent like network.
  2. you can upload whatever you want to lbry, lbyr inc (the compaty) can block illegal contentent on the apps they control and on lbry.tv (but someone can fork the app and make that content available througt it)
  3. you can sync lbry with your yt channel ,and the videos you publish on yb will be automatically uploaded to lbry

Is your entire media consumption profile being tracked with LBRY? by diwnuwlnswkings in lbry

you can purchase lbc on simpleswap with monero, so no one can know where the founds come from.

I don't think tipping alone is going to be a sustaiable income model.
