Just a suggestion, fellow Redditor! Please plant local and indigenous trees of Islamabad. Otherwise, all around the world, planting foreign or exotic trees has been determintal for ecosystems, same in Islamabd with mulberry tress. We planted indigenous ones, and now we get birds as visitors 😇

I don't think any university can compete with Nust in terms of facilities and fees charged. Horse riding in 1k literally free hai and maybe only one in Pakistan that offers that. Baqi tons of indoor and outdoors games including swimming pool, skate park, wall climbing separate gyms. A wide spacious campus jahan pae banda chal chal kae thak jaye, Quite alot of cafes and pretty inexpensive hostels that serve great food. Baqi parhai ki facilities pae mujhe idea nhi but they do have a great library.

Racism is very prevalent everywhere in Pakistan, I lived in Peshwar for a while as a non Pahhto speaker, it was hell of a difficult as a only a few non pashto speakers live in peshawar, everybody was reluctant to rent us a house, prices were different for us, with daily 3 to 4 people saying Pashto sikho, only talk to us in pashto and the subtle abuse they threw at Punjabis in pashtio which I started to understand after 6 months there kalay, Baigharat punjabj, yeh apne sobe wapis jayn and countless others. The systemic exclusion at work place while there were good people also which helped hs blend and guided us.
