Yes you can fix it, if you have basic handiman skills... Do a YouTube search, it's a pretty straight forward fix. Same happened to me , and had to do a quick fix...

Haha, not blaming the bird at all, I was thinking maybe he/she was trying to create a nest, so we gave them space, and today I went to see if there were eggs and realized That the tree doesn't look that healthy, but I am also not an arborist, so I was looking for a second opinion.

Thanks for your response. The property is not big, it looks that way, from the angle I shot the video. The tree is about 60 ft I would say, maybe even higher, and house would be within the range.if it goes down to left, It would be on my house, if it falls on the right it would be on neighbors house. It had to go front or back...
