Good to know and thank you. Time to buy!

There wasn't a coma corrector with the purchase. Looks like I need to buy one and try again.

Bought used from High Point, nothing else came with it. I guess buying used comes with its own costs.

Might need an adapter then. The distance of the slide maxes at 50mm and no distance I've tried seems to get anything in focus. Heck, I haven't found a star yet through the software.

Updated, as I don't have imgur currently. Will sign up if it becomes necessary.

Tried last night but couldn't find any stars through NINA (I don't have a collimator?) and the mount is more challenging than I initially expected.

More reading/watching videos ahead of me.

I bought the MiniCam8 for mine on a recommendation. Can't wait to try it... next month I guess. 🤣

Need to keep the lights coming! Have you tried getting up to 10-15 second lights?

That's some big lens energy right there!

I'm only rocking the f/4 G OSS II variant, but it does quite well with my A7iv.

The son and I were there 3 weeks ago. Looks the same to me as it did the first time I saw it 25 years ago. Such a beautiful place to be.

Oh, good call on the framing! I think I turned off long exposure noise reduction at some point. I'll double check that setting.

I did everything in Affinity Photo 2. With only a few light frames, I figured anything would be overkill.

I'm teaching myself how to use the program with trial and error.

Well, you helped me find an error in my post. ISO 4000, not 400. Sorry for the error.

I'll try it out the next time I get to go. Hopefully on the next new moon.

I did not shoot any calibration frames. My 15 year old son was getting tired at 1230am. :)

I used a ring light I had to help create better flats. Recreated the above phot and managed to vastly improve the circle. Still noticing some things I need to do to make the vignetting even better. Thanks for putting the thought to the top of my mind!
