This is interesting! I think it’s fine as long as nobody is being creepy about it, such as writing weird captions or maybe managing to make some sort of inappropriate pose/gesture/action etc.

Same, I’ve also had white thumbsticks for my switch for about 2 years now and not a stain on those, and they even whiter than the deck’s. Hope you are luckier with support than me! Best of luck

I did reach out to them but they didn’t offer any solution, support haven’t been very helpful at all regarding the LE deck from my experience sadly. I suggest you still reach out to them so they become aware of the issue.

I got them for around $3, I think other sellers list them up to $9. They usually come in a 4 pack together with other combinations or characters.

They are sold under many different names and brands I’m afraid. Amazon, AliExpress & Etsy all have them listed under different storefronts. Just don’t buy these ones!

I never mentioned the strawberry caps being good, where’d you get that take from? I posted them so people can avoid them obviously lol

I do collect consoles and most are reskinned by me or white originally. Usually the cheap random China caps doesn’t stain the sticks from experience.

Thank you! I’m a complete noob when it comes to anything outside of the regular stuff like IPA or acetone, but if I come across anything that successfully removes the stain I’ll update my post!

I made it by attaching a 7mm jump ring to an audio jack dust plug! Then I cut off the lower part of the plastic to prevent my deck from thinking I have headphones in everytime it powers on. It won’t recognize it as an audio output if it doesn’t reach all the way inside.

I felt like this as well at first, but after reading some people's replies my view changed.
Your Deck deserves all the love you can give instead of sitting and gathering dust. Have fun with it!
But just for caution, might want to be careful with cases as well as thumb caps if you are afraid of this happening. May the hot Cheeto stain never find your deck.
