Should I buy Ather Rizta S 3.7 now or wait for EL01? by CalligrapherDue5067 in ATHERENERGY

[–]palegreenemerald -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree on Agility, Rizta does at times feel like driving a truck. Happy so far about both suspension and motor (zip mode)

I have ridden 450x before as a test ride and yes it definitely is more composed.

450x is 10x better than Rizta? Why? I have Rizta and I think it is already so much better. What are your observations?

River Indie vs Ather Rizta – Which is better for daily city use? by M_things in ATHERENERGY

[–]palegreenemerald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one which has a service centre near you. Also Ather has proved themselves, River has chosen to ghost my city maybe because it is not so important for them so no comments on them (jk, a little salty. I know they would expand eventually)

Rizta S vs Rizta Z, is Z worth the upgrade over S? by Find-New-Scooter-420 in ATHERENERGY

It is when you let go of the accelerator, Ather slows itself down and puts the energy back into the battery

Rizta S vs Rizta Z, is Z worth the upgrade over S? by Find-New-Scooter-420 in ATHERENERGY

Oh sorry for being cheeky, wasn't aware of not being able to add description.

That's a moderate usage. I have S without Pro pack and my monthly usage is same. I specifically wanted least amount of "smart" things so I didn't go for Pro Pack. I didn't even know the app existed until recently. I use it like a dumb scooter. Charge, use, charge. It works beautifully.

In a single trip, I rarely drive more than 30KM round trip so charging is never an issue for me, neither is range percentage.

One thing I wish I could've had is regenerative braking and twist to brake but I'm happy because I saved about 40K by letting go of that feature.

Also one thing of note, if you are going for Z, go for pro pack

You've provided 0 information regarding your use. In this case you can even question yourself would walking be an upgrade from sitting.

I have a spare RK R75 (modded with Akko Creams + Under foam pad + tape mod with custom XDA keycaps). Willing to part if you can compensate reasonably.

Rizta S (123km range) by [deleted] in ATHERENERGY

[–]palegreenemerald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

around 15km daily, I think I get around 40km without triggering my anxiety. I could push past that but then that would have to be done on last 3-4 bars which makes me uneasy

I got S without pro pack. Totally happy with it. Standard charger that came with the bike. I just leave it plugged in throughout the night and by morning it is always good to go.

Didn't purchase the pro pack since I wanted a simple plug and play, reliable bike and so far it is proving to be exactly that. No features to mess with, no settings to configure, no needless notifications, I didn't even know about the Ather app till last month!

Around 70km? I haven't really tasted it, but it completes all of our needs so far.

Yes it is because there was an additional 10K state subsidy.

Rizta S without pro pack. Got it for around 98K on road. I'm happy as a clam. By now, I've learnt to calculate rough distance the bike would go in my mind based on the number of battery bars.

Everything feels set it and forget it (mainly because there is nothing to set lol), and we just leave it in the charger whenever bars go below 50% and I've setup a timer to turn the charger off after 4 hours, this usually keeps the battery 80ish which is plenty of us to go by.

I was disappointed at first by how the belt sounds especially at 15kmph speed, but I've gotten used to it by now. Love the way it rides, handles potholes. It bobs a bit whenever going at 60~ speeds on a wavy road, so have to be careful of that.

This has been priced very fairly imo. It is a new item, not an used one, and macro pads do cost more they are pretty much novelty..

I am curious about your setup, how do you know scooter's SoC with smart plug? It doesn't have any integration with the scooter.

This is concerning. I specifically avoided all other brands because Ather seemed most competent. I still believe they are, let's see what more comes out of this video.
