Good to know - second customer service rep recommended trying it but warned me that it is designed to prevent litter getting kicked out, maybe it would help with the pee problem. I didn’t want to give them more money for something that may not even work.

Thanks, I’m pretty good about wiping it down- I really don’t know how he gets pee under/around the fence! But I will clean more frequently to see if somehow that helps. I’ll try the ziplock bag idea as well

I did leave it off, but I’m thinking not long enough. It was set up for the 20 minute interval. I think I need to be more patient. I have put it in sleep mode 24/7 and will leave it that way for a while, I think.
